I watched it for 45mins on YT and got very bored, especially with all that church music. Then I read about a few protesters who were arrested for having......wait for it, Different views from many others, my dog I thought, what sacrilege, expressing YOUR views in a democratic country. A coronation service isn't a form of entertainment, yet the fact that millions were glued to their TVs while you got bored says more about you than it does about the event itself.

Think of all the homes that could've been built, the extra vaccines to fight and beat the coronavirus, all the good works that could've been done with all the UK ;pounds pissed away for this shindig for a couple of do-nothings. And it's 2023, for crying out loud. A pity.

I don't understand your comment this time. I don't favor the monarch, as you know, but my Japanese spouse who lived for some time in the UK enjoys it very much. I made her the requested Quiche earlier in the week and yesterday made her a typical British Sunday lunch.

Estimated cost, £100 million probably not including the police and troops. But let's say £500 million. Divided by 65 million would be £7.69 each. You can no longer buy Sunday lunch for that price.

BTW good Shepherd's Pie made with lamb is very tasty.
