This like playing Russian Roulette

Even US General Petraus said that an offensive either succeeds or fails in the first 36 hours.

It's been almost a month and Zelensky's forces are still fighting in what's called the crumple zone, which is where the Russian defenders pull back to draw the attackers into open minefields and hit them with artillery sniper fire.

The Nato-backed force hasn't even reached the first line of defence let alone breached it.

The Russians have built 3 lines of defence, each one progressively stronger and Russian troops seem quite defiant, resilient and organized.

Zelensky is ordering men to their deaths. It's time for peace negotiations.

Beggars cannot be choosy, only a psychological dependence person cries and throw a temper tantrum, when they cannot get their way,the world owe Ukraine nothing

You don't tell an assault victim they should stop resisting. It is up to us to support Ukraine as best we can.

"..... Russian troops seem quite defiant, resilient and **organized."**

So, got to wonder why they're retreating and surrendering in the thousands (also according to Russian news).

Got to wonder why Russian troops and "military" leaders are complaining they don't get enough supply.

Besides, once again more war crimes by those marauders, killing and wounding again civilians, hitting civilian infrastructure ...

.... just as always.

Ukraine prevails!

Taiwan, and how are you gonna support them

36 hours? It’s now been 16 months and Russia still hasn’t stopped. They need to pack up and go home. Like the Soviets did after 10 years in Afghanistan.

Just adds to the point.

In an address to Ukraine's parliament that received several standing ovations, Sánchez said, “We’ll be with you as long as it takes.”

Yes, sir. Keep pounding, Ukraine!

You have an insecure CIA director going to Ukraine,if he had a solution for the situation, why would he not implemented it ,instead of marketing Zelensky lies

Now Prigozhin is persona non grata and his Internet Research Agency, a troll factory, has been closed down, can we expect fewer breathless comments about Russia and Putin?

And people still don’t think Russia is winning. The formula for success is have all countries fight each other, loan them money for war and have them use that to buy weapons you sell. Learned from WWII, the formula still works.

The only thing the Russians are really good at is bombing and murdering civilians in their homes.

But that doesn't require any skill, just cruelty.

Off to the Hague with the little dictator and the parasites who enable him!

And yet, much of the West expects the people of the Donbas region to just put up with the constant assault they've received from Ukraine since 2014.

Another chap here who supports Russia turning Ukraine into a war zone then complains that people are living in a war zone.

What did you think would happen?

Where were the OSCE observers to confirm it since 2022? That's right, Russia doesn't believe in monitoring.

We must assume the attacks since 2022 aren't happening.

There is no escape now, this war in Ukraine could define Europe's future.

Politically economically dare I suggest its very existence.

The European Union will need to accept full reasonability.

In doing so. find a compromise.

Russia forces will have to withdraw completely to be replaced with peace keepers and a economic process of rebuild.

But that leaves the Crimean Peninsula the so called home of the Russia's Black Sea Fleet

Now this is were the small acorns of an agreement could branch into a complete ceasefire.

Four obsolete tanks...

The regime in Kyiv has lost 23% of its territory.

The elephant in the room is the people of the south-east long ago turned against the regime. A significant portion of forces are Donbas militia who have been defending themselves since 2014.

Pretending this reality doesn't exist or indifference is part of the charade.

Yeah, what percent? 10%? Where did the 90% that is international law violators come from?

The regime in Kyiv has lost 23% of its territory.

'Lost' eh? Just slipped down the back of the sofa did it?

But thanks for admitting that it is Ukranian territory that Russia has stolen.

Pretending this reality doesn't exist or indifference is part of your charade.

But I'm sure your continually evolving list of excuses for this theft will keep you on Putin's side, be it Minsk, Nazis, Biolabs etc.

The four tanks will be the Leopard 2A4 model, manufactured between 1985 and 1992. They promised 10 back in February and shipped the first batch of 6 in April. Earlier this month, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that the remaining four Leopards would be sent as soon as they had been taken out of storage and refurbished from reserve stocks.

It's unclear whether the 4 tanks mentioned in this article are those yet to be delivered or an extra batch.

Either way, they aren't sending the more modern Leopard 2A6E model.
