This is not news coming out of the USA!

California. Already forgotten.

Goobers and guns. Can legislate the goobers. So that leaves the guns.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

No goobers in Southern Cal, just gangsta’s.

California. Already forgotten.

Actually it is your Jesus states that have the highest murder rates.

Isn't California the state with the strictest gun control laws?

...be careful what you say about California, you could be cancelled.

Yep. It's almost as if the criminals don't care about the laws.

''Abila Street was closed at the scene as an investigation continued throughout the morning.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, the sheriff’s spokesperson said."

Um, not possibly, extremely likely to the point of it being an absolute.

Just for reference, Carson's neighboring town to the east-northeast is Compton. That says it all.

People kill people.

In America they kill more people and they do it with guns.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

National crime data as to murder rates per race doesn’t lie.

People kill people.

It's a societal issue and a cultural issue within (a) certain demographic group(s).

You don't need to be a dog to hear all these whistles.

But conservatives certainly lift their ears and can give a nod to eachother, knowing what they are saying even though they soooo would like to bark it out more directly about "those people".

In my county in America there literally has never been any muder by firearm of any kind that I know of.

There was a murder 20 years ago but that was an intentional poisoning and an asphyxiation murder 5 years ago.

There are have been other unsolved deaths within my county and none of them involved firearms. None.

Additionally there are numerous vehicle, boat and snowmobile deaths every year.

Point being, virtually every single household in my county has a firearm of some sort. Literally.

To sum up, it's a cultural issue, not a specific tool issue.

And?

Blacklabel: "National crime data as to murder rates per race doesn’t lie."

With white nationalists making up almost 100% of gun massacres. What's your point except to point out that maybe white people shouldn't have guns?

Just in case you missed it- look below.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/258931/number-of-firearm-deaths-in-the-united-states-by-ethnicity/

In 2021, 31,410 White people in the United States died due to injuries caused by firearms. A further 15,548 Black people died due to injuries caused by firearms across the country in that year

Just not in Randy's County. pop. 81 and a horse.

National crime data as to murder rates per race doesn’t lie.

you know what else doesnt lie , the homicide rate per capita by state, the worst are mostly republicans states.

CA NY both rank better than TX FL. meaning youre far more likely to be murdered in TX FL

We don’t want death data, we want shooter data.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

“According to the FBI 2019 Uniform Crime Report, African-Americans accounted for 55.9% of all homicide offenders in 2019, with whites 41.1%, “

“The per-capita offending rate for African-Americans was roughly eight times higher than that of whites, and their victim rate was similar”

data.

murdered by…whom?

Below is information from the government. The last block on the list exposes your slander.

54% have been white folk.

We don’t want death data, we want shooter data.

But you seem to want the data by racial breakdown. Why not by income breakdown? I'd guess that more poorer people commit violent crimes than wealthy people, whatever their race.

From the link below:

Multi-level studies of income and income inequality are important to understand the characteristics, independent of race and ethnicity, that contribute to increased homicide rates.

It's almost as if with a population of 40 million people you could prove any point if you don't look at the data correctly.

Tennessee isn't:

https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/wireStory/shooting-fire-tennessee-home-leads-6-dead-including-100142452

Neither is Ohio:

Both shooters were white, btw. Not that I care what color the shooters are, personally, because it's all about easy access to firearms.

Albaleo: Income?

How about whether they had a job or not, and of course living in Parents’ house.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

The statistics are what they are. Black males comprise 6.5% of the US population and commit 55% of the murders.

People can speculate about the reasons (like the study above that shows high crime areas have high crime… brilliant), but as long as people stick their fingers in their ears and don’t want to hear the data, it isn’t going to change.

Drug use and turf wars for drug money is turning many areas into anarchy.

I don’t have any answers for that.
