Those boots certainly look authentic!

Miss this show. Loved the early series with “Radar” especially. Used to sit and watch it at my gran’s on Friday nights at 9pm.

Same here on both statements. That show had a great cast, plotlines, writing, humor, you name it.

Many happy memories from that show. It did foster some false expectations though: when I went to the mountains of Korea, they looked almost nothing like the hills of Southern California;-)

They certainly don't make boots like they used to, that sole stitching only happens on custom 4 figure boots these days.

Ditto, and I also like watching the reruns. I particularly liked Alan Alda as Hawkeye, but the rest of cast all did well also. Great humor, great show.

I miss that show so bad. It was one of the best ever. When I was in HS we all saw the series finale, everybody talked about it the next day! And as kids we often identified each other as certain characters. In HS we had a math teacher we nicknamed 'Radar' because of his looks!

Another factor about it was that it showed the cruelty and horrors of war, which sadly didn't sink into American minds yet it showed a strong sense of human nature common in all of us - whichever side you may be on in a war. The show ended in the spring of 1983. By the end of that year, the US and a few other nations were embroiled in an ugly war in Lebanon.
