I just watched the first set, but however you stretch it, he didn’t “shine”, he played poorly (by his standards) and made many uncharacteristic mistakes. The nerves, a bad day? Anyways, winning despite playing poorly is the sign of a champion

British legend Andy Murray gave a tough fight to Stefanos Tsitsipas. There is lot more vintage tennis yet to come from the racket of the Briton. Congrats Stefanos.

Japan Today and other news outlets really should work on presenting ladies tennis news first some of the time. They work harder than the men and deserve the press. Too bad about Murray.... Britain hasn't been doing well in tennis the last 85 years, really, say for the occasional surprise victory. It would've been nice if Murray could've won a third.
