On a legal level, it's the country in whom their primary interest is vested when voting.

Wouldn't that fall under obligation rather than loyalty. I don't feel I should be loyal to a system.

if Japan had given non-citizen Russians the right to vote

A secession vote would hardly pass in Japan regardless of who initiated it, imagine the Ainu attempting to break away, or Okinawans.

What is this 'loyalty' to a country? I don't even know what that means.

I don't feel loyal to any country. Can you elaborate? Anyone?

Does it mean you would fight for a country in a war?

Loyalty to a country, the term can easily be manipulated but in essence it's the people around you in your community, it's your way of life, the land you live on. These can be shared but must be respected.

Can't deny what is plain to see in those clips. If you prefer to live in the NATO vehicles and tanks are near invincible, Russians are running out of missiles, fighting with shovels and museum tanks bubble, fine that's your perogative. Reality unfortunately shows otherwise, regardless of what many want to believe. Researching facts from both sides of conflict leads to a more balanced view - you should try it sometimes.

I'm not denying anything, Only a fool would think NATO is invincible and the Russians are clueless. I'll give credit to the Russians, the defenses are formidable. The bakhmut fiasco gave the Russians time to build up a strong defensive line with depth. The surrendering of Kherson was a sound strategic decision, and then flooding the river forced Ukraine to give up any ideas of a crossing, Brilliant move! They are forcing the battlefront into a stalemate, attacking civilian infrastructure keeps the air defense systems to the rear while creating despair amongst the population, all the while calling for negotiations to end hostilities. but we all know how that would play out, emboldening Russia for it's next conquest.

As long as Ukraine is willing to defend itself, the world must help.

Either way this is one of the many videos out there showing the hits on dozens of Bradleys / Leopards during the unfortunate UAF counteroffensive push couple of days ago.

once again taking that grain of truth and stretching it as far as you can, pathetic.

You sound keen on what would possibly be the bloodiest conflict in history.

keen to end tyranny.

Luckily most western public doesn't share your desire to be involved in a war with nuclear armed Russia which would view such conflict as a direct threat to its existence.

Typical Russian rhetoric and fear mongering.

Ceasefire needs to be negotiated in Ukraine not escalation to WW3.

No negotiations with terrorists.

It’s time NATO became more involved and blockaded the Black Sea. Turkey needs to show whose side they are on. War is coming and we should be doing everything we can to weaken the bear before larger conflict breaks out, which it will. This is no time to blink.

Yes, but if Wagner forces enter Ukraine and attack Poland or Lithuania from there, article 5 can't be invoked against Belarus or Russia.

Interesting idea, maybe NATO should similarly employ a mercenary group, to deploy on the border with Kaliningrad, give us some "plausible deniability" for an invasion of previously Prussian territory, you know since "historically speaking" Russians shouldn't even be there.

As a kid, some of my best memories are jumping in the river or sea. Some times it was a little more than I could handle but panic is what causes problems. Sad these kids paid such a high price but last thing any of us want is more big brother nanny state. Parents, make sure your kids can swim and teach them how to deal with situations.

There is clip of a kamikaze drone striking Odessa, filmed by civilians in an apartment building. It is truly terrifying how it changes speed and trajectory as it strikes. The people watching these must feel helpless as it indiscriminately targets them. This is purely to intimidate the population and nothing strategic about it.

If controversy was their way of getting some free publicity it has worked very well. Just look at the comments, the left and right sides of opinion can't wait to go at each other at every opportunity, kinda sad.

Does it pander to the Qanon crowd? is it purposely stirring up anger in the woke crowd? either way it is probably more to do with generating profits than anything more deeply complex.
