That is incredible that a country with a small population could beat the U.S and China by so many golds.

Not as many golds as I'd hoped but a great medal haul overall. Good job by team USA.

Australia were just outstanding - esp the women.

13 golds with 5 World Records to boot.

Never heard of 5 WR in one meet by one team.

Big up to all competitors, officials and of course the brilliant fans in Fukuoka, who roared the athletes on to dizzying heights for a week. Unforgettable memories were made, and an incredible total of 10 World Records were broken amongst the fierce competition at the Marine Messe.

All competitors have earned a well earned rest and recuperation. Then it's back into training, with all eyes focussed on the prized medals on offer at Paris 2024.

Good luck to all!
