A large chaotic field is where Trump thrives. Difference between Trump and the rest if the field is the field are just greedy, and Trump is actually a narcissistic sociopath. Trump actually cannot help himself. He has no morals and would do anything to win. Despite the faults of the rest of the field, they actually have line that they would not cross. Trump does not!
Trump will wipe the floor with them. DeSantis only hope is to copy Trump's style and hope that Trump's criminal investigations will stop him from reaching the presidential primary making DeSantis the Republicans only choice! DeSantis has a better chance of beating Biden.
I hope Trump gets the nomination because it will guarantee Biden another term. We might even get the first female and the second POC (Asian/Black) president in the process.

Even if, dog forbid, trump does win in 24, but is in prison for the odd crime he committed here and there, he will still be the USA president from inside prison. So any heads of states visiting him will have to serve time for the pleasure.
