The bus passengers were returning from a wedding party.

What a horrible end to the day. Condolences to all involved.

Yes, condolences, but they won’t help too. There’s probably a reason for quite emphasizing the word wine in this report on a traffic accident. That’s surely the clue here. Yes, you are invited too, now come on, have also some nice sips of vintage wine on this exceptional wonderful day which is like a fairytale. We will all return much later at night with your bus, don’t we? So it’s of course safe…. Something like that.

No quite with you Sven.

Are you saying that the passengers drank wine and caused the accident?

Very, very disrespectful what you are implying @Sven Asai.

I guess you missed the part of the story that mentioned the late-night hour, fog, and a roundabout.

RIP and many thoughts to their families.

Seems strange to fixt all the blame on the driver, was he hired directly by the families having the wedding? because usually this is something done with companies that need to obey certain laws and rules to ensure the safety of the passengers and that may share some of the responsibility.

From today's news:

Police took Button to a hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing for drugs and alcohol Sunday night but said no impairment was detected.

It's usually best to keep quiet until you actually know what you're talking about.
