Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday criticized Hong Kong authorities over their pursuit of two pro-democracy activists who live in Australia.

Westerners stupidly going to HK have been increasingly reporting being detained and locked up simply for having criticised anything about China in the past, on social media for example.

The HK activists would be wise to take Albanese's show of support with a pinch of salt. He talks tough but his promises are worth little. Just ask Australians who are battling sky-high energy bills.
