Another reminder of the force of Mother Nature, as the recent hurricane was likely the main contributing factor to these fires, according to experts. At the same time, this is an extremely uncommon event to occur in Hawaii, so it is further proof of the inability of human activity to control nature.

“Having access to an oral medication will be a beneficial option for many of these women coping with extreme, and sometimes life-threatening, feelings," said Dr. Tiffany Farchione, FDA's director of psychiatric drugs, in a statement.

Strong backing by the FDA, as the US makes more important advances in the pharmaceutical field.

So the culture of the US is the reason it is degrading into a developing country by several indexes including maternal mortality rates?

A developing country is leading the world in economic output, advances medicine, and military strength among a multitude of other indexes?

Quite a fascinating personal belief to hear from a non-US citizen. Would like to be entertained by more.

Not surprising as there are different cultural elements at play here.

Why comment something to clearly false? the references include universities and studies published by scientific journals, what argument do you have to call the authors not scientists?

That's a question you should ask yourself.

One of your "sources":

Gender-Neutral Toilets: A Qualitative Exploration of Inclusive School Environments for Sexuality and Gender Diverse Youth in Western Australia

The restroom in Kabukicho is a long way from Western Australia, and will not be used primarily by Australian gender diverse youths. It was a nice opinion paper though by a bunch of psychologists.

If they make a scientific argument for it and nobody can contradict them (again with scientific data to disprove that conclusion) then obviously yes.

Those "studies" are not performed by scientists. None are remotely related to Japan.

And where Japanese society is rejecting these genderless bathrooms as not being a benefit of society, then trying to argue those are a benefit for a small segment of society in Australia is a red herring.

Sanity prevails. We don’t need this woke lark in Japan and the public spoke out about it.

Women’s bathrooms and changing rooms should be separate , it’s common sense and common decency to do this.

Can we get the world back to normality and become more civilised again please?

I second that motion.

Sorry to ask but your comparisons are ludicrous and have zero to do with the genderless toilets.

Nailed it again.

The science is very clear that human activity derived climate change is affecting temperatures in a way that is not observed naturally, by now people that baselessly claim there is nothing to worry and that climate change is not a consequence of human activity are hopelessly out of touch with reality. Daily reports of the serious effects on the globe are simply too serious to expect people to ignore them.

In contrast to your personal belief and opinion, the article and experts mention a natural cause:

"When El Nino ends, the global weather situation should stop being so extreme," she said.

Messi wanted to live in his Miami apartment and is getting a bit old to survive the rigors of the premier league. Many foreign players in the American leagues.

The best player in the world is playing in a primary US-owned team league in the US, as opposed to a primary US-owned team league in Europe. Obviously having conquered the World Cup, he realized the competition in the Premier League is past its prime.

He’s getting on but obviously still has the outrageous ability and a slower, less competitive league will allow him to use it.

Playing in a league made up of many Americans who were on the team that tied England in the World Cup.

Messi knows where the future is at, and smartly avoided the foreign-owned Premier League.

Refuting a claim not supported by the experts but by a misleading interpretation of variation is not being antiscience.

Refuting a basic claim by the experts is a prime example of your anti-science stance.

I'm also in agreement with the experts in the field.

Again, the article shows the last four Julys being cooler. This is pure fact. Disputing it is just plain trolling.

The country's July total was only eclipsed by that for July 2018,

Why deny the science?

This footnoted event of WWII should be highlighted for its saving the lives of over 100,000 allied military prisoners in Japanese war camps who were being starved to death and murdered at a rate of about 15,000 a month, which is a war crime.

The US president should be commended for his bravery, which saved millions of Japanese' lives.

It would have made sense if Kishida's speech focused on Japan's pledge to not wage war on its neighbors ever again.

it is well described how this increases the the severity and frequency of extreme weather events, such as this. You ignoring something that is by now common knowledge do not justify expecting it to be repeated in every article.

Nope.

Nothing in the article reads "this increases the the severity and frequency of extreme weather events".

So, you are just presenting your personal bias on a subject not mentioned in the article.

Again, people died and dozens were affected, and at that point the typhoon still was a danger for others, having no sympathy for them is not an argument to say there is nothing to worry, it is just that, being inconsiderate of the losses and risks for others

Again, typhoons are an annual occurrence in the region. Ignoring that basic fact is denying the science.

One of the greatest decisions of all time, which saved millions of Japanese lives because a mainland invasion was no longer necessary, and saved hundreds of thousands of lives of Americans.

Anyone who justifies the dropping of 2 A-bombs on cities filled with civilians, old men, women and children to a military attack on a military naval base is short on intellectual capability.

Luckily that didn't happen and instead key munitions factories and civilians training for an invasion were targeted, thereby ending the war and saving over 100,000 allied prisoners lives.

It is related to the record heat temperatures observed in Japan, it is well described how this increases the the severity and frequency of extreme weather events, such as this.

Nothing in the article blames heat for the typhoon. Typhoons, by the way, have regularly been passing through Okinawa and other parts of Japan as far back as records are kept. So, that is a basic misunderstanding of the cause of this typhoon.

So saying that there is no need to worry is irresponsibly misleading and easy to demonstrate as false.

If you want to be scared by a yearly re-occurring natural weather event, I suggest don't visit Japan in the summer. We are used to it here.
