What do you think of the new “X” logo to replace Twitter's famous blue bird as Elon Musk follows through with a major rebranding of the social media platform he bought for $44 billion last year?

Think it is not an issue whatsoever, he owns it so can do what he likes with the branding.

It's Xtupid to be honest.

Elon for a long time has been envious of Chinese platform WeChat which is more than a messaging platform. You can buy, sell goods, mom and pop to major stores, Tavel, banking and you name whatever and WeChat does it.
I understand that he wants to change Twitter to WeChat type brand. and hence X new name. It will take many years and decades for that to happen.

Bluebird was cute and stylish.

Bleeding so much cash chose to (cleverly) crowd source the logo. Other companies need to follow suit and stop giving their cronies millions to design logos that a ten-year-old could have made in exchange for an ice cream.

Never use it but I always thought the name and the bird were annoying. In my business my teams opinions matter. Its his business he can rebrand it if it does not work for his vision.

As a black mark symbolizing something that was ruined, the X is appropriate.

The blue bird was more inviting looking. The X just sounds and looks ominous but then again, Twitter has become such a cesspool of negativity it's probably more fitting.

Just another narcissistic appeal for attention.

You'd think Phony Stark would have learned his lesson by now. But no, he's still making the stupidest edgelord announcements to get a rise out of people, only to discover that people are actually taking him up on what he says and he actually has to follow through on what he says. It's the reason he had to buy Twitter in the first place.
