Do you think Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who will visit Europe and the Middle East this month, makes too many overseas trips?

He has to keep going to remind other leaders his name, that's why!

Remember to ask yourself, what exactly have YOU done to make the world a better place?

Nothing that compares with jetting around the world at the taxpayer's expense making speeches that don't achieve a whole lot.

Japan's problems may be insurmountable so why not go on a few vacations?

Because it's kind of his job as an elected and highly-paid head of government to solve them?

Can you just go off on holiday if you have a problem at work?

lets put on left side costs for these trips and at right side real results.

you will easy find out that these resultless trips were really pricey.and meaningless.

Instead of doing pathetic US boy errands geopolitical tourism, stay in Japan and fix Japan's problems first..

Wouldn't mind him spending a lot more time abroad.

Not compared to Abe who seemed to spend most of his time outside Japan.

Is that a trick question?

I never forgot how hi went to Laos and Tuvalu to agree on cooperation over Ukraine. He just a make view that hi is so busy like a typical Japanese salary man, but only what he do is throw taxpayers money in abyss.

What did I done to make this world better? I work hard in my job that makes a profit to society. I have no such power or finances as Kishida, but if I could I will infrastructure issues in Japanese countryside, for which there is no money, and make more human friendly job laws. But I even can't to elect the party.

Agree with Kitty.

He has actually been very effective overseas with his policy speeches and statements. Domestically, hmmm, but he seems quite apt at the outside stuff. Made some landmark speeches actually, which often go unreported by the media who feeds off bad news, scorn, and negativity. Am guilty of it myself, the sport of poli bashing!!

Remember to ask yourself, what exactly have YOU done to make the world a better place? Some food for thought at the start of the week. Have a good one rockers!

That's his job. If he wouldn't be going, JT would ask: Don't you think he's very inefficient in dealing with external partners / events?
