What idiots. Protesting oil while wearing clothing, glasses, and shoes made with oil, scattering confetti made of oil, and having traveled to the venue using transportation made possible with oil.
Ah_so
Let's be fair - they are protesting against new oil projects, not ones in existence already that may have been used to help produce the products you mentioned.

The more the media, political commentators huff puff, the more the intensity, pronounced platform spotlight for there brand of playroom politics grows
Just remove them and move on.
It maybe irritating, have another punnet of strawberries and cream, quaff another champagne cocktail, if necessary have a hiss and boo at the pantomime villains.
Until there antics prevent emergency vehicles carrying out essential life saving services.
Then it is only a question of time tolerance ends, and the public descend into violence.
Matt
Their often dangerous protests bring them a very negative image, which clouds their cause.
Try appealing to the good side of people, rather than annoying everyone.

Just lock them up. Idiots. All they received were boos for ruining what should be a great day out.
Algernon LaCroix
Just lock these morons up and deprive them of anything made from or using oil. They won't last too long.

Come on, it's like grandad and grandma dancing at there granddaughter wedding, one crazy foxtrot away from a nursing home or a hospice.
Sad but expected.

Activists make an arse of themselves in public, being disrespectful and disruptive, hurting the very cause they think they are fighting for. Counterproductivity at its best folks. Bravo ole chap.

A thought, could legislation persuade courts/judiciary be persuaded to hold Grandma and Grandpa stop the oil activism fully financially accountable for there actions.
The taxpayer, insists it's your money or your property or possibly both.
How will your children feel about losing there inheritance.

I know that's nasty

Hardly newsworthy in Wimbledon, but look at all the free publicity they have been gifted.

If their cause had any merit or grounding in reality, they wouldn't pull stunts like this.

I fully support them and their methods.
The environmental movement has had peaceful marches and fundraisers and all sorts for years and been completely ignored. Everything they have done in the past thirty years, ozone hole aside, has failed. So they might as well try something else because repeating the same methods and expecting a different result would be insane. Women got the vote, etc. by being annoying. Not by being polite and not upsetting anyone.
Fighto!
What a silly old man. Should be in a retirement home, not at Wimbledon.
