Again Japanese justice system, using multiple warrants so can detain suspect longer time. He even was in interpol list just because online defamation while he was abroad.

Again, arrest warrant for “intimidating”? For real? These cop have no real crime to solve?

There were actually people in Japan that didn't understand why he didn't want to come back to Japan, I mean, he has made a lot of powerful enemies in Japan with his expose, he got banned from almost every single social media for telling stories of powerful people, many times with evidence, and the original "charges" of scam and fraud were things that had already reached an agreement between the two parties, but conviniently when this guy becomes a political figure they want to persue criminal charges for that against him.
Nothing of this is surprising, but it is just sad. I really do not understand why he came back to Japan tbh.

So, why exactly did he came back to Japan? That he was going to be arrested the moment he was here was no secret for anybody.
JeffLee
He said THAT online?!?! Lock him up for 20 years!! Those poor Japanese celebrities.

I think the Japanese legal system is draconian as well as being beastly and ghastly.

If you cannot fully and effectively anonymise yourself as the source of a 'whistleblower' story, keep quiet. Look what happened to Assange. Why do you think governments are trying so hard to end anonymity online?

Anyone who goes against the grain here suffers. What is happening to this benevolent lawmaker and luminarynis disgusting. Trumped up charges larger than the trumped up charges against Trump are being laid upon this poor man;s shoulders. A heavy cross to bear for being righteous. This is reminiscent of what happened to the great Horiemon, whose only crime was wanting to own a baseball team. He now does, but had to do hard time in Japanese prison first. Just hope the YouTuber doesn't get such a harsh sentence for committing no real crimes.

He came back because the Japanese government were putting pressure on the UAE. The UAE pulled the welcome mat.

It seems like artificial crimes are being created to blame and keep innocent people in jail.
