It would be much more meaningful if the G7 leaders visit the museum first so that are confronted with the brutality and unimaginable pain the civilians of Hiroshima suffered. Then an offering of flowers and a wish for peace would be truly meaningful.

The civilians in Japan, as with all countries were victims. Japan was a military dictatorship, the civilians didn't start anything. 93 nations have attended the Hiroshima ceremonies because of a globally shared hope that we do not repeat this again. None of these nations attended because Japan is "playing victim". You really need to put away your hate hat and grow up.

The US has ZERO, count them 0 invasions going on right now. If you think 1000 troops in Syria is an invasion, you are giving a lot of credit to US forces. The focus now is repelling the Russian terrorist INVASION of Ukraine.
