I think the Norks are smart enough to know that this guy is of no use to them at all, they know all about him by now and he is of no value to them or to the US.

What they should do is just quietly hand him over to the Chinese and ask them to send him back to the US Army. That way they need have no contact with the US side and face is saved all around.

Big news, light sentence because murdering kids rarely matters to Japan's justice system.

The poor child is still very much alive thank goodness, which you would be aware of if you had read and understood the article.

It's getting back to the point where locals are actively avoiding these areas, not for a general antipathy to tourists, but just because it's hard to make a way through the masses.

The locals don't buy the overpriced tat in Nakamise Dori, the only locals there are the ones selling the tat.

Not a mask in sight but plenty of backpacks, people looking like they are going camping for a week. Backpack wearing people should be banned from crowded places, especially trains.

They should arrest him, not murder him.

suggests that he may have shot himself, time will tell.

Combini foods have an amazing array of preservatives and other chemicals. I admit these sandwiches all taste good but it’s scary what your putting into your system.

Interesting. Where can I read more about this and quantify "amazing array"? Just to confirm your theory because not everyone agrees with you.

Lawson do know more than a little about marketing. The key here is the sentence in the article "The combination is designed to appeal to regular egg eaters, who are being encouraged to compare the two varieties,....." the key word being "compare". If Lawson get enough positive feedback then the faux egg version will prevail.

Want just one example of what's scary about these extremists? 44% of Millennials thinks misgendering should be a criminal offense. https://www.newsweek.com/misgendering-should-crime-according-millennials-1813178

Ah but quoting from that report -

However the figure for millennials contrasts starkly with that for Americans as a whole, among whom just 19 percent want misgendering to be a criminal offense, whilst 65 percent disagree, 12 percent "neither agree nor disagree" and four percent answered "don't know."

so there are still many right-minded people who are not taken in by this nonsense.

We discovered that anyone who frequently posts, regardless of their gender, comes across as a person who seeks attention and validation.

Very true, epitomised by some posters here.

For example, BeReal is an app that prompts users to quickly share an unedited photo snapshot of what they’re doing at a random time throughout the day.

Why ever would you want to do this?

"Rupert Murdoch’s News UK has offered tens of thousands of pounds to the parents who made allegations about Huw Edwards, in return for a television interview, according to sources at the media company.

The Guardian understands that an interview with the couple has been recorded and is being edited for broadcast on TalkTV, the sister station of the Sun. Sources said the parents have been offered a significant sum for this."

Stupid kid, but he's a kid.

He's old enough to know better. He should be arrested, prosecuted and fined and forced to make a very public apology and have his tourist visa cancelled thus forcing him out of the country tout suite. This will cause great inconvenience and expense to his parents who can then reflect on the way they brought him up.

I'm sure glad I got all the features for free in my Tesla,

You didn't, they were included in the price you paid.

Amazon interface? For most people when their car is home so are they.

I am more or less in favour of features which are classed as "Driver Assist" and do just that, help me out IF necessary and possibly, for example, start to brake IF the radar/electronics can see something before I can. Some things are helpful, typically Subaru's Eyesight system, it doesn't drive the car but assists the driver when necessary. I, for one, am not ready for full automation.

Remember, computers are dumb machines capable of doing clever things whilst computer programmers are clever people capable of doing dumb things; not always a perfect marriage.
