The Korean War was not enough of an indication for you?

Right. Better to just surrender your island.

With a few SDF missiles a front line in a potential U.S. -China conflict? Must be kidding and overestimating own importance , as that area is surely not becoming a frontline. That insignificant deployment maybe good for some children playing war games in a sandbox at maximum.

Any US-China conflict stems from economics. China is winning and the US is losing. China doesn't need to use force. They're just waiting for the US to bankrupt themselves.

At a time when South Korea is leaning towards the red team, it is only natural that Japan should be the front line against China and Russia.

As long as peaceful talks cannot be held with communist countries, it is only natural for Japan to be prepared for anything.

China accounts for half of the US trade deficit, and if the US shuts China out of US markets, China's trade will be dead.

The decline in GDP has also become apparent, and the world is watching when the Chinese economy will collapse.

Excuse me? Japan has been actively pushing other nations to isolate China FOR YEARS. You can't do that and then claim you're not part of any confrontation.

Stock market up. Inflation down. Not at war. The only way the US will bankrupt itself in the short term is if it goes into willing default.
