Japan's macho cheerleaders fight to save a tradition

At Tokyo's Meiji University, junior cheerleaders spend so many hours bashing their hands together to perfect their claps, they can come away with bloodied palms.

It all sounds like something out of North Korea.

No thank you. Sounds like a lot of brain washing going on here.

Some things should just be allowed to fade away with time. These guys do make me chuckle if I see them though.
