All the way back to Japan and then on the way to Belgium?

Someone should tell the PM’s office that a lot of money (taxpayers’) could be saved by flying from Belgium to the ME!

But since when do the civil servants and politicios think of waste?

Its not their money….

Making connections is never a waste of money!

middle east is a useful partner regarding energy if you know what i mean ;)

as much as there is skepticism PM Kishida is doing quite alright lately, its never a waste of money to establish connections and travel the world, this is how Zelenskiy got support for his country.

No... Funny how stoning to death adulterers, throwing gays off buildings and head chopping those who speak out don't matter quite so much when you are shivering in winter with no gas.

Russia is the natural supplier of gas to Japan but Japan's master says Japan has to buy elsewhere.

The real reason for the visit is to keep Kishida in the public eye as an international statesman... Elections coming soon.

Australia is the natural supplier of gas to Japan. Australia supplies more than 40% of total gas imports.

"energy cooperation", a.k.a. "sell me your oil". It amazes me that Japan has the technology, the human resources, strategically advantageous if it actually invest in green energy, because it has high probability to be a leader in the sector, but it does absolutely everything it can to stifle itself.

So if he is never in Japan, who is "running things" here?

Aso? No one? A gerbil?

It seems it doesn't matter if he is in Japan or not.

Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates will be the next BRICS members..
