Japan on Thursday reported 11,506 new coronavirus cases, down 2,444 from Wednesday. Tokyo reported 952 new cases, down 76 from Wednesday.
The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms nationwide was 141, down 19 from Wednesday, health officials said.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 87.

After three years, does anyone really have anything new to contribute to the arguments for/against vaccinations, masks, etc?

Notice the generic report doesn't even bother reporting the serious hospital cases in Tokyo anymore. Presume there aren't any. It's 1 in a million for the country. So many there would be 1.5? Surely healthcare is about to collapse!
