”Almost a third of Americans still believe the 2020 election result was fraudulen

So many modern day Galileos.

The future looks bright. Why Goldman Sachs and NASA aren’t banging their doors down is the mystery.

He’ll be denying Jewish space lasers start forest fires next.

The poor man needs help.

Gone right down the rabbit hole.

“Of course he lost,” DeSantis said an interview with NBC News posted Monday. “Joe Biden's the president.”

What a loon.

He’ll be telling people Ted Cruz’s father wasn’t in on the JFK assassination next.

Totally lost the plot.

Barbie’ joins $1 billion club

Proof? Who verified this? How do we know it really is $1 billion?

Just because the media says so?

Frantic attempts to save the patient here.

I think it’s time to call a priest in to administer the last rites on ‘Go woke, go broke’.

Let it go.

I once had to sit through Ghostbusters 2016, my friends Birthday present, I had to make every effort persuading myself from gnawing the seat in front

I remember that. I think Milo was a thing back then and had a hissy fit about it leading many to do exactly the same thing.

All very predictable.

What was so bad about it? Was it ‘woke’?

Woke doesn’t mean going broke at the box office. Barbie is absolutely killing it.

I will be watching “Sound of Freedom” soon

The QAnon thing? Really?

Apparently Achilles tendinitis can affect movement and flexibility.

He certainly won’t be weaving through defences too much but he’s an outstanding passer of the ball. Not too shabby on free-kicks either.

Can still offer something at this level. Not sure if he’s going to be able to play every match though.

Enjoy him when you can.

Messi wanted to live in his Miami apartment and is getting a bit old to survive the rigors of the premier league

I think so. Too quick and physical.

You can’t carry passengers in that league these days.. Man U saw that with an ageing Ronaldo.

Messi is reportedly carrying a chronic condition called achilles tendinitis.

Not sure if he needs painkillers to play.

A slower league is certainly better for him given his age and condition.

A great league for one of the all-time greats to showcase what he’s got

Hendo and Fabinho have angered Liverpool fans

Henderson was disappointing. Even an Everton fan could respect him as a player and leader.

Not as if he’s short of a few bob. He’d also have had options elsewhere.

He’s getting on but obviously still has the outrageous ability and a slower, less competitive league will allow him to use it.

As mentioned, better than going to Saudi. Quite a few players have put a bit of a blot on their reputations for doing this.

I haven’t seen it yet, but it sounds like this will be one of the greatest movies ever made. I’ve never heard of such a successful release in the time of the internet. I want to watch it today

Go for it.

I’m a bit like you with things like this.

I’m more of a reader than a film watcher but I wanted to see what the fuss was about with the Da Vinci Code and Harry Potter ( the first book ) and I thought they were okay. Literature is a bit pearls before swine with me though.

I must confess I can be a big prejudiced though. I heard about that QAnon film and just switched off. Crackpottery like that is just beyond the pale for me.

What a pair of absolute nimrods

I think people are being a bit harsh here. Musk said the money would go to charity.

If this handbags at 10 paces doesn’t go ahead, they should donate money to charity anyway.

This one is incredibly successful.

Personally, I'd like to thank the Right-Wing for all the free advertising

They certainly threw their toys out of the pram over this.

These guys are both idiots

It’s pretty good publicity though.

The types who talk about being ‘jacked’ and call others ‘cucks’ and ‘soy boys’ would into this type of thing. The types who call Musk ‘Elon’ would be into it too. Those who see everything through ‘left’ and ‘right’ would like it.

That’s a pretty good audience of idiots.

Should be a good game though.

I think it's cute there is a "World Cup" for women. It is unfortunate, however, that the women cant sell TV commercials or make money like the male version

The ‘male version’ is the behemoth - the biggest and best on the planet. No sport played by men or women is at that level.

However, the women’s game is growing impressively. Blows many men’s sports out of the water in terms of viewership. Some are sulking about this. Sad. Some get a bit hysterical.

I can’t see anything challenging the men’s game but could the women’s game become the second biggest watched sport on the planet?

Incidentally, what sports do you follow?

Nadeshiko Japan has now jumped to favoritism to hoist the Cup, IMO

Get your money down, sport. 8/1 being offered.

Then again, the beautiful game is often a funny old game of two halves, but Cinderella stories are possible and the Nadeshiko engine starts purring once they step over the white line.

Or something like that.

One really has to be obtuse to believe that there is not a rise in total average temperature

It’s part of the hymn sheet.

The answers offered I come across are elites ( the bad ones ) are still flying, measuring temperatures has become corrupted to sell an ‘agenda’ and some just say ‘So what?’

It’s not the most impressive thing I’ve come across.

Motivation and my own laziness has always been a bit of a problem for me

I’m a bit lazy.

I’m studying Spanish these days which can be useful to me, but I don’t pat myself on the back too hard as I remembered the basics from school.

Not too sure if I have the drive or application to learn a new language from the basics now.

I am extremely surprised at how few foreigners living here never really grasp Japanese. Kind of sad. It really limits the experience of being here

How long have they stayed or plan to stay for?

If you plan to stay short-term ( a year or two ), I wouldn’t invest the time beyond the basics. No disrespect intended here, but Japanese isn’t the most useful language worldwide.

As for long-term, I find the idea of living long-term in a country and not being at least functional in the language a bit sad to be honest.

Biology isn’t my strongest suit but this seems like drivel.

Oh ok so with that logic- just because your not educated on something means that it must be inconceivable that anyone could possibly know something you don't ?

So, what form of like on this planet isn’t carbon-based?

As I said, Biology isn’t my strong suit. I’m happy to be educated here. I was under the impression that all life on Earth is carbon based but I’d truly welcome this idea being shattered.

And no they cannot explain gravity or dark matter yet

Not the claim you first made.

You claimed ‘Cant even figure out how gravity works’. This is incorrect. As I mentioned, there are accurate equations which are used in this area. We know how it works.

This is different to the claim ‘they can’t explain gravity’.

This should be obvious.
