Unless there is independent investigation, police investigating themselves does not have any credibility. Since he died while in custody, police and officials are fully at fault and responsible for the dead.

There’s no doubt that there are more criminal japanese people in japan and other countries than Vietnamese people. There are many hard working decent vietnamese people in japan and other countries.

Posted in: Pokemon card shop in Osaka says it will refuse to buy cards from any Vietnamese people See in context

This would be illegal in a democratic country. Such a shop would be forced to close by law. If japan is a modern and civilised country, it must force companies to provide valid reason for refusal of customers including credit card application refusals. This is only in Japan that they can refuse you on the basis of race.

Lawson is generally a bad store with poor service. I once waited in a line long time. When it was my turn, the clark closed the counter and moved to other one and started calling customers from that line. After 2 customers he didn’t asked me. I got angry as i belived the old clark did that because i am not a japanese. When i complained to the lawson company, they said because it was after 6pm that cashier was self cashier. It wasn’t 6pm when i was there he served other customer by taking about 30 min and time passed 6pm. Since than i have not been in a lawson shop over a year even though there are 2 of them near my place.

Japanese elderly complains about everything and they want everything to be exactly how they think. Killing is extreme, but it wouldn’t be easy to live with an elderly.

There are cameras everywhere. It’s strange that police hasn’t already solved the case. Perhaps they already solved but needed to cover up if someone influential was involved that they can’t arrest.

When attacker doesn’t know the victim, the penalty should be 10 times higher. Random attacks, kills and attempted murder should not be tolerated since victim may potentially be someone who can contribute to society substantially.

Why was one of them unidentified? Surely, the other 3 know the unidentified. Is the unidentified man relative or friend of someone in the government and is that why he is unidentified?

Stabbing at a convenience shop would be reported in all developed countries. It’s not more of reporting, it’s actually the increase in crime.

Posted in: Woman stabbed at convenience store in Fukui See in context

Japan is dangerous place. It’s not safe at all. I think it’s only safer than US, but worse than all the developed world. Also the nature of many crimes are extremely horrific that happens once in few decades in other countries while it is almost daily here. For example, torturing and killing children, headless bodies, burned babies and so on. They don’t happen in other countries on almost daily basis.

Details matter in this type os situation. Did she not get as much money as she was expecting? Given the age difference, I assume she was working in adult industry.

it is gross that her father was involved. Was her father making the arrangements for her to meet men for money? Weird people are out there.

For those who were under the influence of alcohol while committing crime, jail sentence should be double. Many criminals making the alcohol excuse, and some of them drink alcohol before committing planned crime to avoid punishment.

It’s murder. If the baby was born in a proper hospital, she could have born normal. Woman didn’t go to hospital or medical center for the baby. So it is gross negligence causing desth, which is the same as murder.
