masked... even for a simple photo shoot like this?

I cannot tell who any of these people are because they have most of their face covered by a piece of cloth.

And you can tell they are in Japan, because this is one of the few places on earth where people are "suggested" (read as forced) to wear face covers, and where most kids in the country have developed a face cover psychological dependency, and feel bad if they do not have their faces covered.

I wonder if "forcing" masks is disrespectful even if it may be protocol.

For the love of God, take off the stupid masks.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people wear masks while posing for photos.

The whole point of posing for a photo is so that other people can see a picture of you, distinctly and uniquely, in a certain setting or with a certain other person.

But when you're doing this with a mask on, it just looks like anyone else could be there.

By far, the most distinctive and individual physical feature of a person is his or her face. That's why they don't take a shot of your chest or your arm or your knee or your backside for any sort of ID photo. They take a shot of your face. That, far more than anything else, tells the world visibly who you are.

Wearing a mask in a photo is utterly stupid.

Present far-right Kishida regime prioritize vested interest than the lives of general citizen, increase Covid19 victim per infection wave, but do nothing, fabricate deceptive social atmosphere as if Covid19 was ended to eliminate mask from society by G7 summit.

But royal family are safety first.

Isn't it about time to get rid of "royal" families or "royalty". That is so middle ages.
