The Japanese 6 o'clock news said he was from Syria, though they can't say he is an "immigrant" just yet.

Syrian "refugee" Abdalmasih H. – a 32-year-old Syrian national

Illegal immigrant from Syria. Little children suffer because of idiotic and treacherous adults.

I guess integration is not going so well in France

Strange thing is that in Japan the stabbings are primarily Japanese but in Europe the immigrants seem to be the ones handy with weapons

Syrian "refugee".

Here is the end game for the suicidal immigration policies of the West.

Another grim incident which points to the victory of Madame Le Pen in the next election.

Illegal immigrant from Syria.

According to the latest news he holds legal refugee status in Sweden.

Statistically, in Europe it's still also primarily the Europeans. Their nationality is not mentioned in news reports, though, and the news are emphasizing "aggressive immigrants" by massively underreporting "domestic" criminals.

Tidbit: Recently there was a huge public debate in Germany when their right-wing party "AfD" officially requested to know the most common first names of violent criminals, no doubt as a gambit to point the finger at immigrants ... only to receive the answer, "Michael, Daniel and Andreas".

Madame Le Pen in the next election.

That might work!

"*That might work"

*Only with Nazi style concentration camps.

And besides, we have enough French on Frencha violence. I saw someone get stabbed by a knife wielding coward in a bar last week.

After all, “diversity is our strength”, right?

Anti immigration people will be having a field day (reads comments above - they are)...

According to a BBC newsflash on my phone one of the children is British... I wonder if the others were tourists as well?

Reports just coming in were that this individual was a Syrian with asylum in Sweden.

Why he wanted to attack innocent children and adults in France is beyond belief. Despicable, cowardly and vile Syrian man. Well done to the French police for shooting him before even more innocents were injured or killed. No one would've shed a tear if they'd put him down.

Hoping and praying all the innocent victims pull through.

Probably forgot to take his meds.

According to the police, the attacker was a Syrian Christian.

Foreigners calling for border restrictions of other foreigners.

Not quite, but a foreigners calling for border restrictions of so-called "refugees".

According to the police, the attacker was a Syrian Christian.

This is a common claim by those seeking "refugee" status. They know they will be given permission to stay if they claim that they will be persecuted or killed for changing their religion. This is most popular in Germany. In the UK they get better results for claiming to be gay.

Of all the Syrian refugees seeking asylum in Germany, just 1.3% are or claim to be Christian. The overwhelming majority of asylum seekers do so as members of the predominant religion in their home country.

Has anyone read a more desperate, sad post in their lives?

I doubt it.

Excellent point.

He was wearing a cross---asylum seekers from Syria make sure they look the part.

All the children are in a stable position.

Even if it were, it would be a small price to pay to take out the Butcher of Damascus.

@Roy Sophveason

You will find two points regarding knife crime in Europe worth considering

1.As a percentage of the population, ethnic minority incidents are higher than those in the indigenous population

2.Incidents in the case of mixed race cases is approximately double the average

Roy.....

Of all the Syrian refugees seeking asylum in Germany, just 1.3% are or claim to be Christian.

Not sure where you picked this number from, but for Afghans and Iranians it is the go to response.

You will find two points regarding knife crime in Europe worth considering.

More than 80% of UK knife crime victims and offenders are from ethnic minorities, mostly West Indian and Nigerian origin.

Of course the vast majority of "refugees" are just looking to improve their lives economically. Only a small minority are dangerous or criminal. But why take the risk, especially if the native population does not want them in their country? Which is the case in most European countries.

Hopefully France and other countries won't use the 'Syrian' trait as an excuse for anti-Arab hatred. Syria is between a rock and a hard place with that Assad on one side and ISIL trash on the other. France (and all of Europe) should use this as a springboard for a European Donald Trump type.
