Police in Nagasaki said Sunday they have arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman who was sleeping on a sidewalk.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 4:40 a.m. Sunday. Local media quoted police as saying they received a call from a witness who told them a man had lifted up the top of a woman's clothing and that he seemed to be groping her breasts. The witness said the woman was lying on her side and appeared to be asleep or unconscious.
Police rushed to the scene and apprehended the man who is a junior high school teacher.
Police said the woman was intoxicated and told them she had to lie down for awhile and fell asleep.
Police said the suspect was also drunk when he was arrested and quoted him as saying he can’t remember what did.

What a disgusting low life thing to do? I remember I was coming homefrom a night club in NY and I was waiting for a train and there was one ABSOLUTE PLASTERED MASHED UP drunk girl sitting on the floor on the other platform from me around 3:20am. There was a group of 3 guys I noticed "inching closer and closer" to her. I ran downstairs and up on to her platform and went over to her and I said "Oh my gawd! Sandy! What're you doing here at this hour? We have work tomorrow! Alright! Let's get you home!" I looked around and the guys were slipping away on their phones! I got her on her train, asked where does dhe live, helped her get home to her place and her brother/boyfriend/husband/roomie answered and he thanked me for getting her home safe! I had NEVER met that woman in my life before, but knew she needed help.

Good on the witness for calling the police .... Many people in Japan wouldn't do that .... He/she probably stopped that girl from being raped.

When I saw the Rolling Stones in 2015, at the end of the show on the university lawnh there was this young lady so stoned (no pun intended here) she could not comprehend where she was or anything. A couple of morons were recording this 'drama' on their cellphones but me and another guy stood by and were going to step if those 2 guys did anything 'funny' towards her. An ambulance came and she was giggling wildly on the gurney, had to be strapped down.
People who take advantage of others when they're 'down' like this are dirtbags and rubbish. And may I recall the story Jesus said about the Good Samaritan?
