Tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are in a fierce business rivalry that has spilt over into a playground spat, with the two men offering to fight each other in a cage.

Next time someone starts arguing about trickle down economics and assisting the "job creators".

Wanting to cut their taxes and give them subsidies to spur research and development.

Remind yourself this is what billionaires really get up to.

You can add to this cage match challenge the recent tragedy in the North Atlantic as well.

immature and regressive behaviour from both of these deluded men who are both suffering some form of mental illness.

Ooooooh! Handbags at Dawn, ladies. Calm down, please.

Why does Zuckerberg look like he's just removed his Joker makeup?

Next time someone starts arguing about trickle down economics

“trickle down” is a caricature

Wanting to cut their taxes

there should not be different tax rates for different people - for different behaviors is how it is and that can be debated. But there is no “their taxes”, the same rules should apply for all.

and give them subsidies

Subsidies is a feature of large bloated government that either taxes excessively or borrows excessively.

Remind yourself this is what billionaires really get up to.

what did these dastardly billionaires do, before they were billionaires?

Life is tough, the economy is going to hell, everything we do kills the planet, there is no future for our society or species and our governments are planning for a world war that will kill millions.

We really need something to cheer us up.

In the absence of anything else, two billionaires trying to fight each other may have to do.

very mature

Something expected from Musk, but surprising he could manage to taunt Zuckerberg into the circus.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I know Zuck has been training for a while now, but I still think Musk will crush him.

How exciting. This could get really heavy.

Maybe someone will say he’s more ‘jacked’ than the other one and call him a ‘cuck’.

Counters could include one ‘living rent-free’ in the head of the other.

The kids will love it.

immature and regressive behaviour from both of these deluded men who are both suffering some form of mental illness.

Both men suffer from what was once called Asperger's Syndrome, which is now recognized as being a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder. it is not a metal illness per sea, rather a developmental disorder. It is often associated with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Poor social skills, selfishness and an inability to recognize the feelings of others are common traits, as are high intelligence. Both men are of an age when their conditions were not recognized early in life (age 3-5) and probably not treated adequately for it.

They are both social media as bait advertising corporations, neither can ever be considered in the right, when they both promote consumption to excess in a time of destructive climate change. They should both self censor their advertising, to ensure wasteful consumption is not promoted, the earth and humanity can not afford it. Care should be taken in what advertising corporations are willing to promote, for example the most carbon wasteful way to produce more carbon, the diamond jewellry industry, should it be ended or not, should it be promoted or not in a time of catastrophic climate change, is it an insane industry or not?!?

Hold on, before you all get excited. This is a pure publicity stunt just to keep themselves to the forefront of public interest. The poor little power mad men are living proof that all the money in the world cannot buy maturity. I know, why don't they squabble over who gives the most money to deserving causes, or even better visit the thousands of refugee camps across the world and donate some of their 'excess' $billions to them.

If they only hit each other’s head, why not, nothing’s there that could be affected. lol

Thought I’d see this on JT.

Any chance to let the posters here cry about the two most influential businessmen of our time is click bait heaven.

If it takes someone with Asperger’s syndrome to dream and put into action trips to Mars then I’ll gladly accept them.

Musk, a fat old walrus, versus Zuck, who's fit and well trained. 10 sec or less tap out...

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Clown fight!!!!..

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Zuck has had a few classes with a good instructor. Musknis untrained. I know exactly how this will go. Plus I doubt Musk has EVER been in a fight. At least Zuck is competing.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Musk certainly has the size advantage, and some unverified sources say he has a Judo blackbelt.

Zuck has some marginal training in BJJ and questionable striking skills, but most certainly has the cardio advantage.

I say this one is 50/50

I’d rather “suffer” with billions of dollars than be blessed with an empathetic mind and 300,000D house mortgage.

They’ll probably make it pay-per-view to make some money on it. And make it a tag-team match with Bezos and “The artist formerly known as Prince Harry.”

Personally, I think they each should get one AR-15, one katana and one replica gun from the movie set of “Rust.” And the same armourer from the movie set should be in charge.

The public wins.

Since both of them boast of their martial arts skills, -Zuck of his BJJ and Musk of his Judo and Karate, chose a skill that they are equally terrible at.

Medieval Combat might be good, and if you watch some YouTube videos, it is quite satisfyingly brutal.

All PPV proceeds go to charity, and loser donates 50 billion to educational programs.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I'd pay to see this fight. The loser has to live on Mars right now.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

a. That's a prime example of social media garbage. It will never happen.

b. Despite their gazillions of dollars, they are both still pathetic little boys.

c. I would love it so much if it did happen, especially if they accidentally connected with a decent punch at the same moment and rendered each other incapable of inflicting further harm on the world.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Cant wait to see Musk do “the walrus” to Zuckerberg.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Its like watching Hitler fight Stalin.

Whom to root "for"?

Can we root for or insert a lion into the ring?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

This is good news. A cage match between billionaires would provide much entertainment in these trying times. They could hold it now, in pride month to raise money and awareness thru their violence.

In Billionaire Fools We Trust.

Less talk, more cage fight!

Zuck had an upper-class childhood. Never had any fights. Musk was in ZA. Bet he had lots of fights. Booty Kickboxing classes won't help Zuck win. Musk will fight exceptionally dirty, as we've seen in his public life.

Musk was a book worm and nerd. No fights, just bullied all the time, so yeah, he can take a punch.

Guns 'n' Roses put out a song in 1991 where Axl Rose dared Bob Guccione Jr. to 'Get In the Ring!'. Anybody recall that?
