Massive congrats to the Super Falcons! Fully deserved win over the higher ranked Matildas. The Aussie women really missed the threat of their two best - Mary Fowler and Sam Kerr. Now, they must beat Olympic champions The Canucks next week to have a chance of progressing.

How miserable was the crowd size ( 50,000 ) for a Matildas game. Very poor showing. You will find that this will be the worst cup ever for attendance. We just don't do soccer well. What were the FIFA thinking.
