OK, so no data to validate that they wear them.

The assumption that a woman is pregnant carries risk.

You don't have to assume. They wear tags in Japan on their purses/bags so you can see it, and don't need to make assumptions.[sic]

I’m surprised that as a scientist, you would state this as a declarative fact.

Do you have some data to validate it? What is the percentage? Is it regional? Is it age related? What is the n number?

The assumption that a woman is pregnant carries risk. The rule is that you never mention or assume a woman is pregnant until a baby is exiting the birth canal. All it takes is one event where the woman is aghast because she's not pregnant, she's just has a big stomach.

Oh, wait. I forgot that men can be pregnant now. Should we assume a man with a pot belly is pregnant and offer a seat? It's too confusing. Just pretend you're asleep.

If Japan didn’t surrender in August, the Soviets would have invaded. And the Americans would then have invaded too, and Japan would have been carved up — just like Germany and the Korean Peninsula eventually were.

“You’re only looking at this from the dropping of the atomic bombs. Roosevelt and Churchill discussed with Stalin the conditions under which the Soviet Union would enter the war against Japan and all three agreed that, in exchange for potentially crucial Soviet participation in the Pacific theater, the Soviets would be granted a sphere of influence. Russia would take the Kurils and yes they were ready to come down on Hokkaido.”

Truman wrote in his diary that he dismissed the Japanese surrender proposal to Stalin during Potsdam made through the Russians in April, 1945. Writing further that he expected Japan to surrender unconditionally when Russia declared war.

He wrote, “… wait until they see what’s in store for them…” as he learned that day of the successful Trinity test.

In the end, the surrender terms were identical to the terms proposed through the Russians, since the emperor maintained his position. Truman was convinced by MacArthur that the emperor would be needed during the occupation to communicate to the public and quell uprisings.

Mental/psychological illness can have a physiological origin or cause. In some cases depending on the cause, they can be cured.

Great. Show us one clinical case of someone cured. Just one.

I can cite endless that validate mental illness cannot be cured, only treated so the patient may be able to function. You can't cite a single, bona fide example. It would be a Nobel Prize winning event.

"Bertie is right. Psychiatry can only treat mental illness. Mental illness cannot be cured."

They only 'treat' cancer as well. By your logic, we can't call oncologists doctors.

Even psychiatrists say they cannot cure mental illness, they can only treat it. A patient can be cured of cancer. No one is ever cured of a mental illness, they can only be treated in the hope of functioning with their illness.

Again, look it up. You apparently did not do that.

It will be salted, planted or an inaccurate measurement, but the initial report is all they want. Nothing is ever corrected by the media. Websites will eat it up - more clicks.

I’m sticking with the ghastly horror of American food being a major contributor to the ghastly horror of American obesity.

When Frosted Mini-Wheats are considered a diet food promoted by the government in concert with the food lobby, you know you’re in trouble.

If you decide to reduce carbs by eating some luncheon meat instead of a bag of potato chips, cookies, donuts, a 2,000 calorie burger (buy one, get a second for $1), you read the label on ham, turkey, chicken from the supermarket and find they are all laden with sugar.

It’s simple business. Make people fat, because fat people buy more food.

If a trans man can stand to pee, then fine. Go to the men’s room.

But it’s mostly males with a skirt and penis who are inflicting themselves on women, invading women’s bathrooms.

It’s just a fad anyway. Fads come and go.

You can't blame people for wanting to avoid it entirely

But you can’t. Background radiation, naturally occurring radiation, the water you drink, bath, cook with, rain, food, etc.

If you stop eating, stop drinking, and waste away in a full radiation suit, you can avoid it for maybe five days before you die.

There is so much information out there, easily accessible at your fingertips.
