If you're not Japanese, probably best to tell someone else,who'll then inform the authorities.

It's interesting that before space flight,most unexplained sights were of fairies or cryptozoology.

Posted in: Some local governments struggle to obtain land for crematoriums and consent from local residents, who feel uncomfortable about having a place of death in their midst. See in context

I'll tell you what.You get good quality izakayas and restaurants nearby if you have a cream in your area.

Plus it's only about 2000 yen to attend a funeral,and you get a quality goodie bag;rather than more than 30,000 yen to go to a wedding.

Think about the fringe benefits.

Posted in: In your experience, which country has the hottest summers? See in context

I've lived in hotter countries,e.g Qatar, Australia,India,even Nepal,but I think it's more how cultures adapt to the heat and humidity through architecture,work routines and diet which make the summers more bearable.

In that regard,Japan on the whole is the least comfortable.

@wallace I like your style.

@albaleo

Cesspits are still very much prevalent in Cornwall, where I am from.

Nightsoil was always the primary fertilizer here in Japan,and on the Hawaiian Islands.
