Japan’s economy is a broken system if it relies on ‘notoriously gruelling’ overtime from not only truck drivers but many other business sectors.

Seemingly most otaku here are already ‘involved’ with non-human paramours. Hatsune Miku is a prime example. Countless anime characters that are designed to titillate these kind of people. This is just taking that concept to a 3-D, fully tangible level.

yuck.

@BB please read before you post. It is clearly written that

the decision to exclude the student "lacked a supportive attitude and educational consideration."

anyway, classic Japanese intolerance and racism illustrated right there. Poor kid, must have been devastating for him and his family.

Posted in: There have been a number of stabbings carried out by young people in Japan in recent years in which the perpetrators said they just wanted to kill someone and didn't matter who it was. What do you believe causes someone to think this way? See in context

I think that the way most Japanese people live in a bubble, ignorant of so much of what’s going on around them and in the world, creates a society that produces certain individuals who perceive their lives to be ‘boring’, so they lash out at society in this way. (I once had a high school student, when asked if he had a Time Machine, when would he like to visit, told me he wanted to go back to world war 2, so he could experience a ‘real war’) Also, there is very little support for mental illness, either socially or professionally, and this, in a society that deems any kind of deviation from the ‘group’ to be unacceptable, creates a subgroup of ticking timebombs.

Posted in: Takaichi vows to quit as lawmaker if document on broadcasters proven real See in context

@Legrande

Exactly!

Abe stacked the board of NHK with his cronies.

He ousted Ichiro Furutachi of ‘Hodo Station’, Shigetada Kishii of ‘News 23’, and Hiroko Kuniya from ‘Close Up Gendai’ all for their criticisms of his government and him. He was a fascist.

And this is completely on topic moderator.

Second in a week. Japanese media still cannot connect their obsessive reporting of events like this and so called copycat events, triggered by their irresponsible coverage. The ‘I just wanted to see what it was like to kill someone’ fetish is amplified and given legitimacy by the media here. And moderator, this, like my previous comment on the teacher event, is not off topic.

The recruiting of new members should be the focus. I personally know three local cops and a high school kid who wants to join. All of them as people are not the kind of people that I would trust at all. They all joined because they were too dumb and directionless to go to a university!

That’s where our tax yen is going.
