"I would like to get my father back. I would like to get my brother back," Harry said.

Well, THAT'S not going to happen now....

Pro tip: Keep in the family fights in the family.

Sounds like to bros working something out! Harry should have cracked him one good time. I am pretty sure William would not try that again! Boundaries need to be established early even with family!

'I didn’t attack you, Harold,'" William responded, seeming to use a nickname for Harry.

Harry is a nickname for Henry and Harold. Not the other way around!

It seems like William was trying to apologize without apologizing.

William: I did not attack you, Harold. I just hugged you with all my strength. You were not strong enough to hold up my weight.

Sometimes, keeping it in the family is how things never change or get worse. Especially, when some family members do not believe that there is problem or an issue.

If "keeping it in the family" was all it took, then there would be no need for family counseling!

Point taken.

Perhaps a better way to have phrased it (on my part) would have been "Don't write it in a book."

For goodness sake, a bit of argy-bargy,

"Harold you are asking for a knuckle sandwich" .....

It like the big brother house, what a pair of wallies.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

What a attention seeker. Is just one drama after the other with him. He and his wife seems to love the media attention these days

11 ( +16 / -5 )

Meghan disowned the father who put her through school and supported her because he sold his story to the press. Yet her boy Harry is doing to his family exactly what her father did to her, only more frequently and for more money.

Does this couple have anything to offer other than constant whinging about their wealthy and privileged life?

12 ( +16 / -4 )

All I know is I wouldn't want any of their miserable lives. I wonder if this whole thing is actually a media stunt and they're all in on it. The "firm" is pretty savy they've been around a while...

As a matter of interest have a read of the Guardian article.

Prince Harry details physical attack by brother William in new book

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2023/jan/04/prince-harry-william-physical-attack-2019-meghan-spare-book

It the type of behaviour one would expect from a pair of adolescents.

"Willy, it is my turn to wear the crown, you can try on Grannies armour and climb on the throne"

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Happy I wasn't born into that family even with all the riches and privileges.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

What did Harry do at the battle front? Waved his handbag at the enemy and shouted rude words? What a complete numpty he turned out to be.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Yeah, I believe him. Not.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Meghan syndrome is indeed contagious.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Even if it did happen, it didn’t have the intended impact of waking up Prince Wokeness.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

I'n not quite sure what piece of news is more ridiculous today - This or the drama in Congress. Both pure daytime soap opera garbage!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I have always supported the Royal Family, the monarchy.

Since the loss of the Queen and the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh all that glisters is not gold.

King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort seem to be a tad vacant.

One area that needs urgent attention is the Commonwealth, home to 2.5 billion people.

William and Harry appear negligent, embarrassing behaviour is toe-curling to witness.

Entitlement, privilege is a toxic combination under the constant glare of social media.

Meghan is a consummate actress, never missing a moment to manipulate an occasion, a storm in a teacup or making a drama out of a crisis.

One never lose their Father or Brother, family are for life. Both William and Harry need to remember that.

The funny thing is, is everyone who reads articles about this and then has something to say about it acts as if they know these people. I've personally always though that William and Kate seem to be the bullies in all of this. She has a nice smile, but sometimes you can see the nastiness in her face.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

When did you meet? :-)

Harry & Meghan need to just SHUT UP & live their lives away from cameras & books!

We all know both Harry & William have gone through a lot, but since Harry met Meghan he has turned into a whiny wuss!

They would be better off just staying outta the lime light, but they cant seem to help themselves sadly!

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Just an older brother getting a bit too rough with his younger brother just like in the rest of the world.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Starting to wonder which is the bigger drama-queen, Meeeeeeghan or Hairy.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Heck I am such a nosey parker, I have ordered a copy on line, I swore I wouldn't, however I snapped on up at £14.

Plus the postage and I will have to pay some tax maybe.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Stop the press - big brother and little brother have a bit of a dust-up.

"ripping my necklace"

If I'd been swanning about in a necklace in the kitchen, my own mother would have given me a bunch of fives.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Both could have worked this all out, reflection seems oblivious to either not firmly having confidence to step back. This whole fanatical loss of reality is a failure to communicate.

The alleged first action after his kitchen shuffle, was for Harry to contact his therapist.

Prince William just went up a notch in my estimation.

Prince William just went up a notch in my estimation.

(that puts him at one notch)

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

You people just can't accept the fact that he went for a person of color. All of a sudden, every one is ok with a brother violently attacking a brother. Willie can come out and refute. But he won't. Becos there is some iota of truth here.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

And spare me the claim but they don't come to response to articles in the public.Remember Willie's strong worded statement defending the footballers vs their/institution's silence on the Clarkson article.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Sounds like they really are a normal family, with all it's up's and downs, drama. Happy moments sad moments, joyous , painful moments, and the odd scrap.

The Gardian

« Prince Harry details physical attack by brother William in new book »

It seems that title is more accurate than yours, Harry is accusing nobody, he is only stating a fact…his brother physically abused him.

You should have waited six months it'll be 50p in the bargain bin

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@Nemo

Exactly what I wanted to say. Keep the family business within and if that’s too difficult to resolve within, at least don’t publish it via netflix and a memoir.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Harry is a sook. Grow some and dump Megan.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Yeah sure, the one that was longest in the military and in Afghanistan was pushed around physically by the the other one raised to keep cool under pressure and no matter what happens around him.

I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me,"

Then anyone that has owned a dog know those bowls are made near indestructible because they are for Dogs.

He is fully entrance for some reason by Meghan. Remember this is Harry we are talking about, bad choices Harry Nazi uniform Harry, etc...

Yeah sure Harry.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Its all tedious. Harry should heed the advice of the great Canadian band, The Guess Who, who said it best in the song “American Woman.”

American woman, Gonna mess your mind

(repeat x4)

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I wonder if there's scope for creating a satirical comedy along the lines of "The Simpsons", but instead called "The Windsors"... and focusing upon you know who.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I wish I could insert the GIF of Jeremy Clarkson saying, "Oh, no! Anyway..." It's the most appropriate response to Harry.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

buchailldana

Everyone has made that point. I know, I need my head read.

My own mum said "you did what"...?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Cue Ball vs Ginger. Cmon guys, brothers having dust ups as kids is normal...but punch ups in their late 30s? Beyond pathetic!

My money is on Cue Ball. 6'4" and ~100kg, size of a rugby second row forward. Ginger had better enrol in some aikido classes lol.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

No offense to both the royal family and H&M.

For me, the system of having the royal institutions with our tax money is becoming nonsense.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me,"

I think this is what may have really happened.

William said hurtful things about Megan, and Harold/Harry said something that 'irked" William who grabbed Harry's shirt at the neck, breaking the necklace and startling Harry who quickly tried to back up, and tripped ending up on the dog bowl. In Harry's mind William pushed him, but it may not have been the case as these things happen very quickly.

William "turned and called back: 'You don’t need to tell Meg about this.

''You mean that you attacked me?'

'I didn’t attack you, Harold,'" William responded,

Easy for a situation like that to be viewed in two different ways.

No doubt William grabbed him and broke the necklace. But I doubt William attacked his adult brother. Grabbing him by the collar is an aggressive move but that Harry fell may have been more from his reaction than from William grabbing his collar.

You people just can't accept the fact that he went for a person of color.

Say what? She's whiter than me and I'm white. Perhaps I should start learning a thing or two from her and start playing the racism card myself. Could make a nice career out of it, just like her. Oh wait, I'm missing a very important ingredient, unlike her I'm not an as$hat.. not a chance at succeeding then.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

William called his wife Meghan Markle "difficult," "rude" and "abrasive," before tackling him to the ground as the pair continued to argue, the Guardian said.

Isn't that the truth about Meghan Markle ?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Rarely has someone burned their bridges with their family as comprehensively and publicly as this. What is he going to do when he runs out of beans to spill?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

You people just can't accept the fact that he went for a person of color.

In the UK, I think the bigger concern would be about a Royal marrying someone from the USA, whatever the color. I recall my somewhat bigoted grandmother tutting when Prince Andrew was dating Koo Stark. Assuming it was because she was viewed as a porn star, I gently asked her why she was upset. "He shouldn't be allowed to marry an American," was her response.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Harry, take your woke wife and do one...

See you..

Agreed 100%. The race card is waring a bit thin now. Playing the victim always was lucrative.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I would have thought Harry could take him.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Brothers fight, though adult brothers usually find better solutions. I fought with nearly all my siblings, including my brother.

Harry, 38, writes that during a disagreement in the kitchen of his London home, William called his wife Meghan Markle "difficult," "rude" and "abrasive," before tackling him to the ground as the pair continued to argue

At 38 yrs old, they both should be embarrassed. OTOH, I can easily believe that Meghan Markle isn't exactly what the Crown would have preferred, so, to them, she may appear to be difficult, rude, and abrasive. In America, that's called "being real." Say what you are thinking is a common trait for Americans, even if it is abusive or unwanted. If they wanted someone who would follow along, there are a number of other nationalities known for that personality trait they could have pushed Harry to date and marry.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

BTW, Americans don't think of Royals as anyone overly special. They seem entitled which isn't a good trait in America. A few weeks ago, Prince William was on a "Green" Awards Show. One host was British and the other was American. The British host was extremely respectful, as expected. The American was much more casual. America doesn't recognize any inherited titles like other former British Colonies. I have more respect towards any Brit who achieved without inheriting anything.

GW says

Harry & Meghan need to just SHUT UP & live their lives away from cameras & books!

We all know both Harry & William have gone through a lot, but since Harry met Meghan he has turned into a whiny wuss

But how would they be able to make a living then, if not by talking sh*t (for the last few years now) about the Royal family.

Everytime I see them in the news they're generating money by talking sh*t about them.

The hypocrisy of these 2 is almost beyond belief. This D-list actress having a world platform, generating money only because she's associated with the people she's been trying to tear down the last few years.

Harry is reaching prison-snitch status. Why publish that? What kind of b*tch move is that?

Congrats to William for kicking his ass.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

@thrmeFu

Lol...come on dude.

Maybe she IS actually a spoiled entitled brat, rude and abrasive.

Is it that hard to imagine?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Although very unusual for an older brother to attack his younger, it can just happen. But in this case, it was very likely to happen and, it has happened because, William and Harry do not look like full brothers. William is much taller and has straight, black hair. Harry is shorter and has curly red hair. They could be half brothers.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Still not hearing or reading anything bad that Meg has done. Yet anyone trying to be objective is accused of playing the race card.

You freedom, independent loving posters here are defending an arcaic institution.

I guess to you guys, Andrew is an angel and Harry, a devil.

Harry is doing what his father failed to do. Charles couldn't defend the mother of his kids. Harry could look the other way when his wife is sold to the wolves.

Yes, keep on defending a monarchy. You look pathetic. DNA shouldn't determine our life course in this modern world.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Monarchy and similar institutions shall also pass. So will political dynasties too. Just a matter of time. We should all earn our status. Not inherit them.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Fame and money but no peace of mind.

Because that is all she does, use the race card, rich brat that if anyone says anything she goes " it is because I am Black" .

I didn't even know it until it was brought up as she complained about it.

My Japanese nieces are darker than her most of the summer.

It must be great to be rich and be able to use the race card anytime someone says something.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

@Thomas Bickel: Don't read the article then, and don't comment then. Simple solution.
