I have heard some of these leaders are pressing Putin to reenter the grain deal.

Excellent, Africa is for the BRICS!!!..

It's the BRICS + the Global South vs. the imperialist colonial NATO.

The fact that these leaders of developing countries travelled to Moscow just to make deals with Putin speaks volumes.

Is Putin courting Africa, or is Africa courting Russia.

Actually, it seems more like a mutual movement towards ALLIANCE, sort of like what happened in WW2, but with a different class of players. Turns out that the victims of the White Bloc betrayals, economic wars, sponsored coups and regime change operations see getting together as a way of avoiding being the victim of the week.

What's interesting is that while the 11th coup in Africa by American trained generals in a couple decades is fresh in the minds of African governments, the 'Rebellious Chef' is meeting those governments at the Russian venues. More evidence that it wasn't a coup attempt, but rather a remarkably successful deception operation to allow a rapid, unhindered redeployment of antiKyiv regime forces to deplete the reserves the regime had committed to its Spring Offense.

And yet the BRICS bank, NDB, says it is not considering new projects in Russia...

Russia is an imperialist colonial power.

Developing countries are happy to form alliances with Russia, leaving their past unfair deals with the US bully.

Unlike the EU, Russia does not invest in Africa or provide aid. Thousands have fled from the Wagner Group which is propping up dictatorships.

The African leaders have called on Putin to renew the grain agreement.

And the guy that launched a revolt against Putin, killed Russian soldiers, shot down Russian planes, and occupied a Russian city...is hob-nobbing around this so-called Summit too....

Africans call on Putin to return to Black Sea grain deal

"This war must end. And it can only end on the basis of justice and reason," African Union Commission Chairman Moussa Faki Mahamat told Putin and African leaders in St Petersburg.

the African plan floats a series of possible steps to defuse the conflict, including a Russian troop pull-back, removal of Russian tactical nuclear weapons from Belarus, suspension of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Putin, and sanctions relief.

Putin gave it a cool reception when African leaders presented it to him last month. In public remarks on Friday, he restated in similar terms his argument that Ukraine and the West, not Russia, were responsible for the conflict.

141 countries condemned Russia's invasion. That's a lot of countries in imperialist colonial NATO according to your reckoning.
