Carlos Santana: 'My guitar is my best lover, ever'

Great musician and I've enjoyed several of his concerts.

He is less a man of style than of sound, a clear, loud, fluent sound that cleanses with the same motion no matter how often that motion is repeated

Few talk as much gibberish as critics.

My favourite was one describing Eric Clapton’s playing as what he doesn’t play is his true skill.

I wish he haven’t played ‘Wonderful Tonight’ but that just a personal view.

Anyway, I‘m not a big fan of Santana’s music but he’s a bloody good guitarist.

I did like his version though. The intro in particular is excellent.

Applicable to both people and countries.

Right now, I’m only listening to three things: Nina Simone, Etta James and Tina Turner.

It's nice to know I share the same tastes. It seems I'm not so stupid after all.

For me, Santana's Supernatural album is one of the greats.
