Change is what all dictators hate. Now, when (not if) the results of this election show that the dinosaurs have lost (like in the last election), it will be most interesting to see how they will "interpret" the results this time and possibly change the rules again after the election. If this doesn't work, they can always find a way again to disband the "nasty" opposition parties. If this happens, then all hell will break loose.

"Hopefully, the entire country will respect the results and the will of the people,"

It is to be hoped that the royalist military establishment will respect the will of the people. And I have some fears whether they will. Thailand has a lot of potential, a great populist spirit, but that spirit tends to be thwarted by those who put the brakes on for their own selfish interests.

I'm wishing you the best, Thailand.
