I don’t think it has anything to do with fertility. It has to do with people choosing not to have children due to money, freedom and/or often more likely than not, getting off their phones to actually have some fun. lol You can’t text a baby into existence.

fascism is alive and well in America right now. The attack on minorities, women’s rights and actual truths in what people say. The radical Christian right spewing lies is disgusting. It’s shows the world that America is no longer the leader in the world and frankly Japan should start to consider to getting along better with the emerging dominate leader China.

I don’t see salaries increasing that much for the workers there. It just seems like a needless price increase to increase a few peoples pockets.

Their management is incompetent. In 2007 they filed for bankruptcy and took bonuses and their investors lost everything would never trust them. Anyone who would ever invest in that company are idiots. They don't know how to manage and seem to be setting up once again to probably do it again.

Perhaps Japan can take the high ground and develop a positive relationship with Asian countries and stop asking the president of the United States for help with nearly anything international.

Fir todays issue it’s sad technology is so bad in the military that they can’t determine the trajectory.

I’ve been using esim roaming and was using NTT Docomo for a month. Last Friday it stopped working. It still isn’t working. My provider Singtel was no help at all. They said to use softbank network but it’s so slow google maps doesn’t even load. When will they fix it? As of now it still says No Service.

How about changing the clock so the sun rises around 7am and sets at 6 so people can use the full effects of the sun warming their homes and offices in the used part of the day. 4am Sunrise is amazingly early.

Posted in: Indonesia tells Japan all import restrictions lifted at summit See in context

I have a house in Bali and the locals charge 2 times the price of anything from Japan. Then they pay their staff 1,000 yen a day to work and the rent is 1/20th that of Japan. Its all corruption. And try to buy anything other than food and Indonesia charges 35% tax on it. Anything from outside Indonesia gets this import tax. They are even taxing telephones that tourist come to Indonesia for holiday. Full tax to be able to use a tourist sim card. So this news really isn't helpful at all. Indonesia is still Indonesia.

With the current COVID numbers perhaps an outside venue would be more fitting. Like the imperial gardens area. Rest In Peace.

Posted in: Former Prime Minister Abe dies after being shot while campaigning in Nara See in context

As a nation mourns, remember the people of Japan are strong, the country is one of the safest in the world, life is fairly good for most people and we are free. Prime Minister Abe stood tall in fighting for Japan to continue to grow into a stronger and better place. While not everyone agrees with his politics, the man always put his image of Japan first and worked hard for many years up until his assassination to improve the life of the Japanese and those of us who call Japan home. A sad day that a coward shot down a leader and took away his strong voice. It's time to mourn and when it is finished let's not forget we live in a great safe and free country and it is better because it had Abe's leadership. Rest In Peace.
