Seoul told North Korea Friday that using its nukes would mean the "end" of Kim Jong Un's regime, after Pyongyang threatened nuclear retaliation over growing U.S. military deployments on the peninsula.

The end of the whole civilization and life on earth!!..

Pathetic losers...

Seoul is absolutely correct. No one can deny it.

Why even bother reporting this? Of course Seoul is right. This is merely pseudo intellectual sensationalism. The US would decimate North Korea easily, from a submarine. And believe me when I tell you the us Navy submarines are nothing like Ocean Gate's submarine.

I think it would an end to a lot more than that.

Korea would be gone. SK NK and some of Japan. So the story is pointless. Of course his leadership would be gone. Just like SK leadership. People need to start to talk with respect to all parties involved.

Ossan,US do not have a first strike policy , meaning that it would mean an end to South Korea government, the US has no policy to have a premature strike to protect a foreign country ,you foreigner should learn that Google US First Strike Policy

American people would not risk nuclear annihilation to protect Foreigner, American would just do as they always believe in, self preservation, you see how Russian are carving up Ukraine, and the US has no real response to Russia,by launching an attack inside Russia

Somehow people have the wrong idea that only the “other side” will suffer and have consequences.

NK can cause a lot of needless deaths, but the US can surgically remove Kim with hardly any effort. If Kim starts killing people outside of NK with his WMDs, it will be the end of him.

However, if Trump were somehow to get back into the White House, all bets are off. He would just do what ever he perceives as best for him, in his twisted brain.

1gleen and whom would stop Kim, American have no demonstrated that they will protect their own , American are generally selfish, and protection of Foreigners is not most Americans priority

Yoon has no say in America first strike policy, just because Biden say it , Biden is not even guaranteed,he will be the nominee for the Party

Once in a while it seems that dictators need to be publicly put on notice about what happens to them if they go there and the extent of our will.

seems that have a tendency to forget.

EFD,if you are not an American, you have no say whether the US will launch a nuclear strike as for as dictator, the US has gave them their blessings that nothing will happen as usual

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Yrral the normal American has no authority over a nuclear launch.

I'm sure Kim Jung Un has access to the best nuclear bunker in Pyongyang. However, a nuclear war in the Korean peninsula would lead to the deaths of many millions so probably a good idea to try and avoid one.

Yeah don't hesitate to further inflame the situation

Since NK issues threats all of the time, there is nothing wrong with the occasional reminder that they have no power over anyone.

You're so right that approach has accomplished so much, hasn't it?

In fact it has motivated the North to acquire nukes and brought us all to the brink of war, great job.

The NK nuclear program goes back to the 60s and possibly even earlier. I'm sorry, but losing the favor of your only friends in the world is not an acceptable excuse to go nuclear.

The sanctions have accomplished much: it's kept this criminal state from being an entity on the world stage and it has served as an example to countries that violate the NPT.

Nice try lol

On the contrary now they help others develop their nuclear programs, further destabilizing and raising tensions.

Iran is the only other rogue regime near acquiring nuclear weapons. Sounds like NK has been focused on trying to keep their people from starving rather than proliferating successfully.

Even if it were only Iran saying "only Iran" is ignoring the huge impact Iran is having on the geopolitical stage.

It's clear you don't know much the way you go on encouraging hawkish sentiments, we're all going to lose this planet and future generations will have people like you to thank for it.
