Posted in: Bigmotor president to step down over alleged fraud See in context

This news should be in the major headline everywhere internationally. In Japan, it's the biggest story right now as many companies are involved with the scams!

I can't expect more because international media on Japan's problems is heavily managed by MoFA!

Japan is desperate after China's ban on Ga & Ge, which soon will be Japan's agricultural/aquacultural products. Let's not forget that Japan will be hit hard when Taiwan reunification with China happens.

Japan tries hard to become the next UK for all dark money from Asian elites. Almost all of these condos are owned by foreigners who are mostly Chinese.

SONY just already lost the permanent war.

Even with a 10 years contract for Call of Duty, it doesn't mean that Microsoft can purposely rig the games to perform badly on SONY's gaming platforms. During the FTC fiasco, SONY told the judge that Call of Duty is what keeps the PlayStation alive!!

The real foes of Microsoft aren't Japanese companies but the rising Chinese ones like MiHoYo or Tencent. I bet SONY will eventually end up like Toshiba where it goes bankrupt but will be brought back as a zombie by a bunch of old-fashioned Japanese elites who mesmerize the good old days. However, SONY may be different since most of the shareholders and executives are foreigners. It could be perhaps sold to a foreign private equity giant instead of being brought out by Japanese old farts.

Japan's deindustrialization and tech decline are paving the way for the rise of a services-based economy or subcontracting.

Japan better maintains a niche brand of premium goods before China and other countries develop their own premium brands. China's Moutai has been increasingly popular in recent years, and it's merely a fraction of what China can and will do in the world of premium wines.

Sony is likely screwed in the long term. However, Japanese people don't even care since the company has been majorly owned by foreigners now. It's hardly a Japanese company!

"Bullying and sexual abuse of people including actors and staff", assisted suicide of parents to escape from the shame he was gonna cause, ... what a shameless piece of work is Ennosuke! Wonder if the abuse will be followed up too.

The bigger, actual reason is likely the financial fallout which is attributed by the aforementioned scandals. The Kabuki industry has been greatly struggling financially for a long time. If their family is filthy rich like Hollywood stars or Chinese stars, then they would not give a damn if he is in a scandal.

The greater reason must be the financial issues coming from the scandals and the terrible state of Kabuki industry.

Japan has already accepted its future of being divided and ruled by foreign elites.

China, the US, Russia, and ASEAN states will co-rule Japan into multiple regions that will be economically dominated by foreign elites.

China can shut down Taiwan straight or economically bully Japanese companies within China to exert influence over Japan. The US has already controlled Japan in all forms, I don't need to elaborate more. Russia controls Northern Japan and has huge energy leverage over Japan. ASEAN states gradually become safe havens for losing Japanese companies in the international market (since Japan Inc can't compete anymore!) as well as providing cheap labor, and affordable exports to Japan, so each ASEAN states can emulate China to pressure Japan to do anything that benefits them more than Japanese natives.

I recently learned about a Japanese tea company that was owned by a Hong Kong fund after its Japanese founder died, then this company became a mineral bottling company instead of a tea one. Many Japanese water sources are gradually eaten up by Chinese and other foreign entities, and it's merely an example of what will come: Bakumatsu 2.0

I just hope the Yen getting 200 against the USD by the end of this year. Weak Yen is bad for Japan but it's good for international businesses.

If Renault has merged with Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, the new company would have rivaled both Tesla and BYD now.

Nevertheless, Japanese ultranationalists take over and keep the myth of Japanese exceptionalism alive. Let's not forget that these same people don't have any problem with Chinese and other Asians buying Japanese businesses. What a double standard!

Posted in: Emperor, empress to visit Indonesia in first state trip See in context

Most Japanese people want to abolish the monarchy, especially after Komuro scandal and various shenanigans from Akishino family (rumored to be Korean).

There's only a pocket of strange ultranationalists in Japan who want to keep the monarchy. Most of them are fiercely pro-LDP and pro-American. I would not be surprised if they are under payroll from the Unification Church. Kishida still refuses to take down the ruling Korean cultists!

Toshiba should have been sold to any foreign company. Japan could have reaped the massive money to create more successful businesses. However, Japan decides to save a zombie corporation instead. Ford CEO says that Japan is not their future opponent but the Chinese automakers.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/05/25/ford-ceo-farley-says-chinese-automakers-like-byd-are-biggest-ev-rivals.html

Most of Toyota's investments in the US and worldwide are local partnerships, not fully-fledged operations like Tesla or BYD. Honda has to partner up with Koreans for the EV drive. Toyota and Honda are the laggards in the current EV Revolution, and they have missed significant milestones. Toyota's EVs will be rebadged Chinese cars since Toyota announced major partnership with BYD where the Japanese will be second in command.

Japan just recently conceded to lose the display industry against the Chinese and Koreans. I bet the auto industry will be next.

Canada 2.0 is in the making as I predicted.

Foreigners (especially with Chinese and Southeast Asians) will buy all assets within Japan. The prices will drive up to high heavens, and Japanese locals will live in abject poverty like Canadians.
