There have been only 6 recessions during presidential election years. That's 6 in 25. Good odds for real-world stuff.

The annual trends in the fall are up, after 1 final negative bump. Then 2024 is a Presidential Election year and there will be lots of extra spending by politicians and parties all year to pick up the US economy, if earnings and corporate spending/expansion don't address it.

I know that my stocks are up between 11% and 25% in the last year. Doesn't feel like a recession to me.
