People have the right to choose for themselves and to meet like-minded people.

The vaccines are not experimental, and have been demonstrated above any reasonable doubt to reduce the risks for everybody for which they are indicated, so not trusting them is still an irrational choice based on vaccine falsehoods.

Over the many years I've had many actual vaccines that prevented the specific illnesses(tuberculosis is one in particular) or actually built immunity (unlike flu shots).

That also applies to covid vaccines, none do it perfectly (polio vaccine for example still let a lot of people get a fever, just not the lethal complications, same as with covid).

Informed consent is quite a different thing from the recent misinformed societal pressure and essentially coerced "treatment".

The problem is when you only consider consent being informed when it includes the falsehoods you would like to believe (like covid vaccines not conferring immunity, etc.) that is not a rational position to take.

People have the right to choose for themselves and to meet like-minded people.

But when their choices come from irrational bias and falsehoods they do not have a right for these factors to be hidden.

What part of the article can you demonstrate is false? none? that is because it is actually correct and valid, independent thinking do not mean blindly believing false information just because you invested part of your self worth on those beliefs.

Choosing to believe and promote false information is something that should be frowned upon, it can lead to other people being mislead to making the same mistakes and putting their health and lives at risk unnecessarily.

People that repeatedly spread false information, even after being debunked can validly be clasiffied as antivaxxers, they are not just hesitant or looking for information but actively spreading falsehoods to mislead others into making the same mistake.

Hearsay accounts not documented nor characterized about yourself in no way are comparable with the information on literally billions of vaccinations being done around the world giving data that confirms the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.

Amusing to see the legacy media are doing the bidding of their owners to try and discredit anyone who decides against taking their products. This flimsy propaganda piece aims to demonise people who see informed consent as an important value, and makes a lame but expected attempt at guilt by association:

I guess when you have such a dubiously "safe and effective" product, you have to do anything to guilt or scare people into taking it - even when pushed by government mandates, lockdowns, travel restrictions and the like. They are panicking because next time something like COVID rolls around, resistance is likely to be much stronger because the media, political and bureaucratic class, the pharmaceutical companies involved, and the people who own them all were so deceitful last time around.

One glaring example was that Pfizer knew that their product did not stop the virus from spreading. But they made zero effort whatsoever to clarify the blatant lie coming from governments, health bureaucracies and the media that getting jabbed would stop the spread.

Just face the truth and accept that Pfizer was not up front about the effectiveness of their product. Not to mention colluding with the FDA in an attempt to suppress clinical trial data by keepng it under wraps for 75 years. What on Earth were they trying to hide? Not unfavourable data!

Some of my neighbors refused to get vaccinated against Covid, but isolated themselves, and made it through the pandemic. However, four of my neighbors died from Covid, all of them before the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines became available. Since the vaccines came out, none of my neighbors have died. So, while I am willing to respect the choice of adults not to get vaccinated, I think it is a mistake.

Antivaxxers discredit themselves by endlessly repeating proven falsehoods, just by listing the many things they use to mislead others is enough and that is consequence of their own actions.

The whole scientific and medical community characterize the vaccines as safe and effective, that they are all wrong is not a believable argument, specially when you fail to produce any evidence this is the case.

That is a completely false misrepresentation, even from before the vaccines were developed it was considered that completely stopping transmission was not a realistic goal, but reducing the transmission was, which is still completely true to this day.

The other part of the misleading information is pretending the developers pretended the vaccines to be absolutely effective against any and all variants in the same way as the original one against they were designed, that is false. Again even before the vaccines were even developed the effect of variants reducing previous immunity was part of the warnings made by the professionals.

So the "lies" are actually things only antivaxxers said or things that are actually true.

False conspiracty, the FDA demanding more resources to lawfully process documents for public release while being asked to publicy hundreds of thousands of pages of information is no conspiracy nor it had any involvement from any company.

Some will never learn. It's an ego thing.

A neighbor who works in the ICU at a hospital told us that the AstraZeneca vaccine used in Europe has an efficacy rate better than the Chinese vaccine, but not as good as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Again, I am willing to go along with adults making up their own minds, but not with making up their own facts.

Unvaccinated by choice means "IQ well below 80"according to a recent study. So yeah, if I'd want to be looking for a functional analphabet, I'd be using this as a criteria.

This makes me wonder how these people even know to come in out of the rain.

Or in this case, they don't even know to avoid potentially fatal illnesses.
