In Japan, you need to cover your skin or use sun cream with very high levels of UV which can cause skin cancer. In desert countries like Saudi people are covered head-to-toe.

If you think that's hot, you haven't been to the Middle East

one can get heart attack or a stroke faster than skin cancer :)

I know three people who had serious skin cancer. My own skin is very sensitive and I cover up outdoors. Japan had dangerous levels of UV during the summer. Many women and some men use umbrellas.

No T-backs Wallace! The hottest place I have ever been was Arizona where I could not even walk out to the lukewarm pool without burning my feet and NYC in the summertime when a heat wave was baking the city like an oven.

Every day on my phone I check the UV levels. If I don't use sun barrier I turn red very quickly.

Oh i see then... sensitive skin should be covered but an average Japanese usually has a healthy thick akin which is used to sun from many generations no? Also i think to have skin cancer from high uv is only one of the many factors.

I was in Savannah, Georgia during summer once, and you are basically walking soaked in your own sweat all day long. There is no relief.
