Posted in: Movie weapons supervisor pleads not guilty to manslaughter in fatal shooting by Alec Baldwin See in context

Alec Baldwin is the ONLY person responsible for this, he POINTED a Weapon at someone who WASN'T even IN the movie, so far, for UNTOLD reason(s), and pulled the trigger...what does that say to YOU ?!

It tells me YOU think too simplistically, or YOU have some vandetta against the rich and famous.

What amazes me is that there were live rounds anywhere near the set - I mean why were they there? It's a film set, not a shooting range.

Because some idiots wanted to try out the "toys" used in the film.

It seems that American men who don't like football, don't like American women who do like football. Especially the American women who are very good at football.

What is the source of their ire ? Is it because they are American women who are good at football ? Or is it just because the American women who do like football have achieved far more than the American men who don't like football ?

Well I was visiting home when the USA lost, and my father's reason was quite simple: They didn't sing the national anthem. Rapinoe smiling after she missed a decisive penalty didn't help, either.

Took way too long for Japan to wake up, which is a shame because the Swedish defenders and keeper looked pretty shaky when they did. The coach not starting Endo makes me wonder if he was playing for 120 minutes from the start. It seemed to backfire because Japan got pinned back on their left side with Sweden putting in dangerous crosses. You know the saying "the best defense is a good offense", and that seemed to apply to Japan in this match.

Sweden's second goal is questionable, as the rules say there is no PK if the ball deflects off a teammate and then hits a hand, but FIFA keep going back and forth on that.. Either way, it seemed inevitable Sweden would score a 2nd goal.

And the courts need to enforce, a minimum percentage of the fathers salary that goes directly to the mother

Directly to the mother? Great deal that would do here. That would just give her more money to do recreational activities while hospitalizing her daughter.

What a piece of work. And how did nobody at the hospital catch on to this for 5 years until they happened to overhear a conversation?

The couple was later pronounced dead, with their deaths attributed to a drug overdose, in what is believed to have been a family suicide pact, an investigative source said.

According to the one guy that is still living. This looks like a plain old murder. He even covered their heads with a plastic bag and threw out the evidence. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

If we want to save their poor children it will be at the expense of the country sad to say

Let the pachinko parlo pay. Hold them responsible if they don't have a security guard checking every 30 minutes.

Iniesta’s next destination has yet to be confirmed and he has been linked with clubs in Europe as well as South America.

The guy is a legend but if he can't find playing time in the J-league don't you think it may be time to hang up the boots for good?

After all, what responsibility did his mother have? None, as far as I can see, so what responsibility was she cowardly running away from?

The fact that they had a family meeting and agreed their kid should kill himself tells me all I need to know about these "parents".

Some people were never meant to be a parent, or care for another human being or even animals, they just don't have it in them, as simple as that.

There isn't a "simple" case of bad parenting. These lunatics abused their kid for fun and recorded it.

Posted in: Kyoto wants to add extra charges for tourists to use city buses See in context

Create a city loop bus routes specifically for tourists. It's not rocket science.

Yes, and since these will be "express" buses, in a way, they can charge more if they want without resorting to discrimination. Let's face it, even Japanese already feel they are on the receiving end of discrimination from Kyoto residents. No need to make it even worse.

Posted in: Kyoto wants to add extra charges for tourists to use city buses See in context

Raising the price won't do anything, as there is no viable alternative and most people on vacation won't worry about such a small fee. Hopefully they will eventually realize that they have to increase the number of buses, but I won't have my fingers crossed waiting.

Although that kind of thing really grosses me out, the kid can't be responsible for all of their losses. If you're going to have customers touching and sharing bottles of sauce, there's always going to be risk involved, especially during a pandemic. How about giving them packets of sauce? I find it weird how some restaurants still act as if COVID never happened...

At first, chair umpire Alexandre Juge only issued a warning to Kato. But after Azemar and Grand Slam supervisor Wayne McEwen went to Court 14 to look into what happened, Kato and Sutjiadi defaulted the match.

Should read, "After her opponents made a big disgraceful scene".

My first thought is that why would a rich man in his right mind entangle himself in such a headache considering the fact that a prostitute is much cheaper. Also, what was she doing in his room? How did she end up there?

The answer is that she pretty much was a prostitute known to "hang out" with other baseball players.

Will be interesting to see if the rape charge holds up, but either way he is a scumbag since he has a wife and kid.

And how many girls have millions of yen to spend? And of those, how many are stupid enough to spend those millions on hosts? Some perspective would be advised.

From what I hear, often girls that work as hostesses or some similar jobs use a large portion of their earnings on hosts. So the money keeps circulating around the same shady businesses.

Well the cases usually go down this time of year and peak in the summer, so waiting until summer would also be a silly move.

In typical J fashion, instead of simply saying you don't need masks, the government made a half-arsed decision and told the people to choose themselves. Naturally, Japanese can't choose themselves so are waiting for those around them..

Those places are unhygienic to begin with. How many people have done the same thing but not taken a video of it? They should give wrapped packets of everything, instead of expecting customers to share them. Just touching the lid is unhygienic. Not to mention the unwrapped chopsticks that anyone can touch before they go into your mouth...

What's really hilarious is that lots of posters here who criticize Japanese for being conformists actually waited for the dropping of the request before going maskless lol

How is that funny? The fact that the government announced it is a personal choice from today, means you were expected to wear them (indoors) until now. We were given the choice today, and chose not to wear them.
