When is Egypt gonna transition to civilian rule

Talk of a "democratic transition in Sudan"? (as Kishida sits complacently with the smirking proverbial "elephant in the room", the military dictator of Egypt whose ruthless regime has snuffed out democracy for Egyptians.) Another "post-truth" photo-op with irony in the room so thick you could cut it with a knife.

The guy on the left, who looks like he is at Disneyland, is sitting next to a general who upended civilian rule, while lecturing others about "civlian rule", just as he denounces nuclear weapons from the relative safety of his ally's nuclear umbrella..

It's weird that countries which have zero influence in certain countries seek a picture moment and ashamedley talk about crisis resolutions. If Kishida is serious then he should be visiting countries/ leaders with close alliances with Sudan.

Present Japan also needs "democratic transition".

Egypt is heavily involved with Sudan. With the government forces I believe.

Never mind all the small talk about democracy...heres the real reason for all the conflict........
Sudan's ruling military concluded a review of an agreement with Russia to build a navy base on the Red Sea in the African country. Moscow met Sudan's most recent demands, including providing more weapons and equipment..........and basically the americans and the west dont want that !!!
Russian port by the Red Sea? Sudan says “yes” - TVP World 2023/02/18 ....Google it

The only reason is this one : Kishida expressed Japan's intention to extend yen loans to Egypt.

Kishida does know that Egypt is one of the worst human rights abusers in the world right?

My guess is they want to further split it. South Sudan is already separated and the rest of Sudan will probably also be split into smaller Sudan and Darfur. Altogether with Egypt they form the Nile area, and that’s the problem especially Egypt has with Sudan. If they ever would dare to cut or decrease the Nile water supply from Egypt, that would be like a nuclear bomb in their hands in Sudan. No one anywhere has an interest for such a scenario, that’s why they let them play warlord and wars in any of the Sudan countries or areas. In short words, no one really cares, as long as they can be held small and poor and don’t build a too big threat to Egypt.

Is t that a little bit of irony? Egypt. Not exactly a glowing reference for democracy. And Japan. Nearly 60 years of a single party in power.

Here we go again, pacifists when it suits our narrative, aren't we?
Japan, or anyone really, won't go out of their way to suggest a "rule-based" system in Yemen or other places because it would mean calling out rule breakers that are better not called out. The rhetoric is understandable though as you can't just say you want money when you go to a country that obviously has very little of it. You have to make it look like you're helping.
