Almost the same as democratically elected Vladimir Putin at 82%.

Not surprising when he's about to bankrupt the country buying useless US made weapons!

-2 ( +9 / -11 )

Biden and Kishida has gotten no bounce supporting this loss cause in Ukraine

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

His approval rating should be even less for war mongering with nato and spending our tax money to get a picture with leaders around the world. He not doing anything else than that.

-5 ( +11 / -16 )

And yet just watch his government comfortably win the next election. If only the dissatisfied voted. (Sigh)

-2 ( +11 / -13 )

With this in his pocket, he's off to yet another junket.

The only country in the world where a party, with only 30% support, is still guaranteed to be re-elected.

Amazing.

Kishi Kun is a disaster, Japan is in bad hands..

China loses 155 aircraft and 138 warships on average, while U.S. forces lose nearly 20 warships, including two aircraft carriers, and 270 aircraft. The SDF see 112 aircraft and 26 warships destroyed.

go Kishida. Don’t forget the Chinese supersonic glide missiles, space warfare, nukes and 51 unprotected nuclear reactors.

you may have grown up in USA, but you are the President of Japan. Look after your people first.

And in the west…..

Clinton won the popular vote, taking 48% of the vote compared to Trump's 46% of the vote, but Trump won the electoral vote and thus the presidency.

Amazing.

And What about Macron Kun and Sunak Kun? Which country is burning to the ground. It aint Japan. In fact, Japan is much better shape than any other G7 country.

That's because dumping isn't cleaning up !

So the west never cleans up its waste either.

Doesn't really matter as long China receives a sufficient black eye and Taiwan is a lifeless rock for them to collect. Also China will receive the notoriety for striking nuclear plants.

Taiwan is a lifeless rock for them to collect

Strange thing to say for a Taiwan supporter.

You know Mr Kishida must appease Biden to get him got the full political support from U.S. Otherwise he will be doomed like those short lived Japanese P.M. before "Abe-san era"!

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Bring back Suga-san!

The poll also showed 76.6 percent calling for the postponement or cancellation of the government's plan to scrap health insurance cards and incorporate them into "My Number"

they should start a new poll.

which is a bigger waste of time and tax payers money?

kishida OR the entire my number fiasco

Kishida is jet lagged half the time!

He can’t be thinking straight in that condition…

LDP maintained the highest support rate with 30.1 percent, which was followed by 10.6 percent of respondents favoring the opposition Japan Innovation Party and 8.7 percent preferring the main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan.

The Japan Innovation Party will hopefully be the clear main opposition party after the next election.

So far as I can tell it is the only party that doesn’t want to spend even more of our tax money.

One of the reasons they don't vote is that there is often quite literately no viable alternative. It's not like in the US where if you don't like the Democrats you can always vote Republican; in Japan the main opposition party can't field candidates everywhere, and the only choice is between the LDP and independents or candidates from minor parties who everyone knows will never be in government.
