In Japan, its a pretty normal day for the Kipling household. Except for singing Happy Birthday baby Jesus at breakfast while consuming half a bottle of Baileys Irish cream.
I'll be here. Keeping an eye on the airwaves and monitoring the misinformation.
Someone's gotta hold the fort I guess.
My family will be celebrating out first Christmas with our new baby, so it'll be something special.Until recently I'd grown tired of Christmas, but now have a reason to make it fun again.
Christmas tree, carols at church on Christmas Eve, presents, games and a turkey dinner (if I can find a turkey) if not a ham/ribs/or a big salmon. A Christmas movie Us in the mix as well.

mazel tov! Having small children makes it all worthwhile.
This will be my first time to spend on Christmas alone. Until the last year, I had lived with my family celebrating my mother's birthday, which is on 25th of December. However, I started to live myself for the first time due to the change of my workplace. Therefore, I do not know how to spend on a whole day of 25th. I do not have acquaintances or partner to enjoy the Christmas with. Anyway, I'm thinking of purchasing a FamiChiki at Family Mart before it's price is risen.
lucky this year 24th is sat and 25th sun since in Japan Christmas are not holidays like in many countries around the world but just pure event.
this friday will make Christmas tree with kids, saturday make some traditional dishees evening all of us will have Christmas dinner next to Christmas tree,Sun morning kids will get presents...soon after end of year family travel for a week.
no masks no covid "science" involved, will try to have quiet peaceful family Christmas.
It will be late, because cards and gifts are stuck in the postal strike. Aside from making the Christmas dinner, I'll do some work and then relax with a Kdrama.
A packed house with a few bottles of Dom Perignon, heaps of craft beer, a huge serrano leg, lots of awesome food, lots of friends, lots of laughter, lots of kids running around, presents and absolutely zero circus.
Somewhat of a sad xmas for me, as it's the second in a row I'll be spending in separate countries than my family. But my dad wasn't expected to live to this xmas, so it's nice he's still with us to spend another one with him. And I'll be with my family next year either way.

I don't have any grievenaces. People who want to celebrate should do so.

Christmas for the majority of us will be a normal Sunday. But enjoy it and there will be the footie to watch at least on the 26th.

I'll be at Villa Park on that day, and Anfield a few days later. The rest can take care of itself.

Quiet and thankfully without the unnecessary family drama as I'll be spending the holidays with friends.

not so good. I recently caught the cold and will likely be sniffling and coughing on Christmas eve.

How does this earn downvotes? Must be a couple of Grinches around. May Christmas spark joy in your lives.

Gonna slow cook some meats and get on the beers soon after I wake up. Should be a great day.

Bleak and hopeless as usual -- I expect things will become even worse next year. There is nothing to look forward to.

I'll probably be having champagne with a client as usual.
