The British Royal family. We're not their subjects and we're not interested if the prince had to eat his bagel without his favourite marmalade last Tuesday.
Generally the majority of the population doesn't care about one individual celebrity. These days it is possible to target celebrity news to just those who like said celebrity.
I envision the characters as they are portrayed in movies. I do not want to know who they are in their lives nor do I pay any attention to them nor care to read or hear about them.
Especially all those feminized boy groups, idols, announcers etc because I just don’t know which category or gender type I could put them in or they think themselves where they belong to. And even more strange, they have the most success, fans and admirers of all. That combined exceeds my understanding capabilities and tolerance levels by far. lol
Most J-TV 40% of it is dedicated to cooking (How many times can the same food cooked the same way taste Oishii day in and day out?)
Agreed. I turn on the TV after the wife leaves for work and it's commonly one of the the first words I hear. A quick switch to cable TV usually keeps my eye rolls to a minimum. J-TV is almost completely unwatchable.

Almost all of them.
I'd rather hear of the real celebrities of the world, nurses, carers, parents, school teachers, etc.

Harry and Meghan are very annoying. I've stopped reading articles about them -- still look at the comments though.

Geez… so many…; lmao…;
..
Japanese “celebrities” can be especially annoying because most of the time we ask ourselves: why is he/she famous(?)…;
but tbh, I don’t really care about celebrities/famous people (with some exceptions…)…; my idol and my hero is my mom.
