Zelenskyy orders Ukraine to strengthen northern defenses

Media have reported that Wagner could set up a new base at a vacant military facility near the town of Asipovichi, about 90 km from the Belarusian capital, Minsk

After Wagner completed their mission in Bakmut, they merely got redeployed to Belarus into a more advantageous attack position.

The staged coup was cleaver ploy for the Kremlin to disavow any responsibility for what Wagner does henceforth.

If Wagner moves into northern Ukraine and starts raiding warehouses full of Nato weapons and some Nato personnel get killed, Moscow can completely wash their hands of any fault, blame or responsibilty.

Russia will raise their hands at the UN assembly and say "Wagner is not our army, they are rogue loose cannon goons that we take no responsibility for, after all, didn't you see the coup attempt on TV"

The general public in the EU basically fell for the coup narrative so they will never agree to a full scale war with Russia over Wagner's shenanigans.

Asipovichi is kinda far from the border. Anyway, if Wagner do decide to raid the Belarusian prisons for slave soldiers and trek south in preparation of an attack, the Ukrainians would get Nato's permission (given Kyiv's location) to bombard Belarus with Himars, Storm Shadows and other devastating ordinance that would reduce large swaths of Luchenko's little country into a corpse-littered wasteland. Can't see the president being too enthusiastic about that scenario.

Given that Belarus is now a nuclear armed country (which was conveniently arranged right before Wagner got transferred to Belarus), there is no way that the European members of Nato will agree to a Nato attack on Belarus.

European citizens will not view Wagner's attack on Nato as a state sponsored attack, it'll just be Nato vs. a bunch of heavily armed ex-cons.

If Belarus gets attacked they could decimate European cities and thus European politicians will never give permission for Nato to retaliate against Belarus.

Prigozhin will not get assassinated by the Kremlin, he is too valuable as the new thorn to constantly harass and poke Ukraine and Nato with.

There is talk in the non Ukrainian propaganda press about regular forces from Poland and Lithuania being sent into western Ukraine. The Wagner force is being moved to Belarus as a counter.

There was no coup... Prigozhin was not against Putin, and not against the war. His problem was with 2 generals and the way they were managing the war. Prigozhin wanted MORE aggressive war. Again, something the western press are rather suspiciously not reporting.

Just so we're clear, your entire plan depends on the world thinking that "just some guy" is invading NATO countries using Russian troops and weapons and intelligence and it can in no way be linked to Putin? And as a result Russia gets off Scott free?

So, with the Spring Offense losing troops to the northern defense, and the complaints from Zelensky about running out of armor and weapons and ammunition and cash, it looks like this summer is shaping up to go the way everyone but the White Bloc heads and echo chambers predicted.
