Pineapple candy dates back to the 1950s when canned pineapple was a luxury in itself. It became an affordable and accessible way for families to try a fruit that wasn’t as widely available at the time.
Lithon’s pineapple candy magic syrup maker is compact and can melt up to 15 pieces of pineapple candy at once. It’s the perfect topping for shaved ice, french toast or even savory dishes like sweet and sour pork. The machine is fool proof as it’s designed with only two settings and, unlike melting it on a stove or in a microwave is fun to do.
Following along the 15 different recipes that come with the syrup maker and taste the difference.
Available for ¥3,960 on the website.

I can’t see where the “fun” comes in that you wouldn’t just use a pan and save ¥3,960.
Yikes. If you’ve managed to procure and prepare the other ingredients to make yourself a sweet and sour pork, you can afford to do it properly and get some real pineapple in there.
