A Tohoku region exclusive (as of writing), this 11 Piki no Neko (11 cats) measuring tape is an ode to the 1960s picture book series that captured the hearts of three generations. Created by Noboru Baba and produced by Koguma Publishing, 11 Piki no Neko won the Sankei Children’s Book Award and was adapted into films and a puppetry show. The story of 11 Piki no Neko follows, you guessed it, 11 cats as they go on different adventures and meet all sorts of characters.
The measuring tape comes in two designs and has a side that tells you how big of a box you need when shipping items at the post office.
