To be honest, it is ridiculous to apologize for something you didn't do ( sins of the father).

That Japan is not the same Japan, everyone involved on wars, did questionable deeds, are we still blaming Germany, for the Nazis doing during WWII?.

That sounds rather offensive, rather than the defensive role the SDF is constitutionally bound by. What worries me more than the SDF obtaining high-tech offensive weaponry is violating the constitution. Japan did that in the '30s and '40s and look what happened.

So, what is Japan supposed to do?

The law needs to be respected, if you want to change the law, the follow the procedure, I don't thing that trying to impose the laws and views of you former country is correct, then why did you move to Japan ?

Sure I don't agree with plenty of laws in here, but I knew what they where before I decided to stay here with my family, I could easily move back to either the U.S or my original country Dominican Republic. But I decided to stay here, the U.S is to divided, and D.R I underdeveloped, so I make my peace that I might no agree with every law, but is better than the alternative.

Marterosario, now I think people should have the option of using whatever name they wish, at the sametime

We should not be involved in any way in this war in Ukraine, there is plenty of other issues in the U.S that could be fixed with the amount of money we are wasting in this whole business.

I don't agree with what happened, but someone else mentioned and I agree they are not going to win against the Japanese government on their lawsuits, it's regrettable.
